The 2024 Maruti Dzire has been revealed ahead of the November 11 launch. The generation update brings in a host of changes inside and out, including a fresh design, new interiors, segment-first features and a new power package as well. Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG: Specs Check

The optional CNG kit is available in mid-spec Vxi and Zxi trims in the new Dzire. It’s mated to the new 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine and you’re limited to a single 5-speed manual transmission.

With this set-up, you get a slightly reduced output compared to the petrol engine, which returns 82 PS and 112 Nm. The Maruti Dzire with the CNG option highlighted in the Zxi trim one below the top brings you design touches like 15-inch painted alloy wheels and LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs. You miss out on LED fog lights, however, but the rest of the design is similar to the top-spec variant, with the same body-coloured OVRMs and door handles, chrome inserts in several places, boot spoiler and shark fin antenna.

The Dzire CNG offers essential amenities along with some top-notch creature comforts and the list includes equipment like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, steering wheel-mounted audio and call controls, push-button start/stop, electrically adjustable ORVMs, automatic AC with rear vents, a 6-speaker sound system and connected car technology.

The safety bit is taken care of by 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear parking camera with rear parking sensors.

If you choose the lower Vxi trim, you will compromise some of these features. Going with the CNG option also cuts you off from the Dzire’s segment-first add-ons like the electric sunroof and 360-degree camera along with a few more amenities. The pricing of the new generation Maruti Dzire is yet to be revealed and will be announced at the launch on November 11.
