Brady announced the news concerning his five percent ownership stake in the NFL franchise on Monday.
The seven-time Super Bowl and current Fox NFL analyst has gotten over 420,000 likes and counting on the social media post, and one of them includes Shedeur Sanders, who liked the post.
The sports world quickly reacted to the decision, speculating that the Raiders could be his preferred NFL team.
Sanders has a connection with Brady which goes back to 2020 when the pair began training with each other.
The son of Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has been one of the best quarterbacks in the 2024 NCAA college football season, recording 17 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Brady could have some influence on the Raiders’ roster, especially when it comes to drafting their next quarterback.
Las Vegas could be a landing spot for Sanders.
He became the first college athlete to sign an NIL deal with TB12, Brady’s brand.
The New England Patriots icon could advise the Raiders to target Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft, especially due to the team’s murky quarterback situation.
Las Vegas is currently 2-4 for the season and has gotten inconsistent play from signal-callers Gardner Minshew and Aiden O’Connell.
The team likely be heading into a new era of football next season, and the head coach Antonio Pierce‘s job might not be safe.
There have also been rumors of Brady hand-picking Bill Belichick to be the Raiders’ next head coach.

The NFL head coaching icon has been away from coaching after parting ways with New England in January.
Currently, Belichick has numerous jobs including being an ESPN star analyst.
Brady’s approval to be a Las Vegas co-owner comes after more than a year of waiting for approval.
He began his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox to be the network’s top NFL broadcast analyst.
Brady works alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrew.
However, after receiving the stake in the Raiders, he will have several restrictions in his broadcasting job which include not having access to other team’s facilities or practice and broadcast production meetings.
