However, relations between Jack and his daughter are far from great at the moment, after Jack chose to side with Chelsea Fox over his own daughter regarding the club crush drama.

In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Penny and Harry blackmail Jack, before Jack heads to The Arches to demand answers.

Harry tells Jack to agree to his blackmail terms by the end of the week or else.

Later, Jack reveals a worrying discovery to Penny, who immediately heads to The Arches to confront him.

However, he is quick to settle her concerns.

Later, outside No.27, Harry retaliates and tells Jack that the blackmail deadline has moved forward to tomorrow as a result.

His threat works and later in the week, Jack heads to The Arches and reluctantly agrees to turn a blind eye to Harry’s dodgy dealings.

Penny decided to blackmail her dad after his betrayal regarding Chelsea and the club crush.

Stepsister Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) confessed to being responsible for the club crush.

This was something Penny, as manager at Peggy’s, had received blame for.

A furious Jack demanded Chelsea go to the police and admit what happened.

Along the way, however, she made a stop at the hospital to see a young man who’d been left in intensive care after the crush.

Upon learning the man was not only awake but recovering, Jack rethought everything.

He called a family meeting at No.27, asking those present to vote between Chelsea and Penny.

When the tie was drawn, Jack had the casting vote and went for “the least worst option” and chose Penny to take the fall.

Furious, Penny yelled: “What? You choose her instead of me, Dad?”

Storming out, she continued: “You know, screw you all and your stupid vote. I’m going to the police myself!”
