THERE’S truly no such thing as privacy for celebrities with many even being ready to pose for the camera while sat on the toilet.
Kim Kardashian became the latest to embrace the cheeky trend when she kept the door open after pulling her leather trousers down.

Tracy Romulus, who is chief of marketing at KKW and Skims, shared a series of photos on Instagram to wish Kim a happy birthday.
She penned a caption gushing about Kim being “the best mom, friend, girl boss” and their funny memories together.
Kim looked all smiles alongside her kids, friends, and on flights but it was the snap of her on the toilet that caught her attention.
“OMG these pics! It’s the peeing one for me lol LOVE YOU forever your ride or die,” she commented.
Tracy’s followers were equally amused by the photo which stood out from the others.
“Never thought I would see Kim vaping or peeing for that matter,” one person wrote.
“Love that toilet picture,” another said.
“Only a close friend could capture pic #8!!!” a third chimed in.
“Only Kim could make a toilet look pretty,” another commented.
Body language expert Judi James said the photograph makes Kim seem more relatable.
“Kim’s pose is actually quite infantile with a cute smile and head tilt and her knees stuck together as though she only just made it to the loo in time,” James said.
“It’s playful but her hands cover her front crotch to suggest she really has her knickers around her ankles, which adds a daring touch.
“But it also looks like a very public answer to the question so many women ask when we see her in places like the Met Ball clad in Lycra top to toe or dresses she has been sewn into, which is ‘how does she go to the loo in that?’
“This looks like her reply and that in turn makes her seem much more self-effacing and relatable.”
The photo may have been inspired by Travis Barker paying tribute to Kourtney Kardashian earlier this year with a toilet snap.
However, the trend isn’t new with Julianne Hough sharing a “potty break” with her followers back in 2016.
Kim & Kourtney’s supposed rivalry
Kim Kardashian has claimed it’s a “huge misconception” that she and sister Kourtney hate each other.
They got into a heated argument in season three of The Kardashians when Kim starred in a Dolce & Gabbana show with a similar aesthetic to Kourtney’s wedding in Italy. The sisters seemed to understand each other’s point of view when they discussed the issue in a follow-up episode.
However, watching edits of season three sparked anger again.
Kourtney accused Kim of not being able to handle not being the centre of attention.
Meanwhile, Kim argued that Kourtney had a “serious vendetta” against her that she needed to “dig deep” to resolve.
In the months since the sisters have posted social media tributes to each other.
Kourtney said “people forget” that they are sisters and said a lot of people have fights with their siblings.
However, an insider told The Sun they “barely speak” now unless it’s on camera for their show.
Halle Berry celebrated reaching 2 million followers on Instagram a year later with a candid snap of her trousers around her ankles alongside a glass of wine.
Judi James said the popularity of the toilet pose may have caused it to lose some of its meaning throughout the years.
“The trend of loo posing probably started to make a celeb look edgy, cool, daring and even more emphatically A list as they try to prove they can still look ‘Vogue’ classy while pretending to pee,” James said.
“It also suggests a lack of inhibitions that can be seen as sexy. It reminds the fans that this is a real woman behind all the celebrity goddess front.
“But now so many of them are adopting the look it’s lost some of its daring potential meaning it’s upgrading to being shocking from just sitting on the lid to going full knickers round ankles’ mid pee.
“It’s also a girl-relatable statement look.
“Women tend to do loo trips together and even chat in the loo so this is also a statement of female bonding akin to ‘girl power.’”
Amy Schumer opted for a shocked rather than sexy expression on her face for her toilet photo in 2019.
It was taken while she was awaiting the results of a pregnancy test on the side.
Just weeks later Noah Cyrus threw her hands into the air to take a photo in the background of Tana Mongeua’s bathroom selfie.
Elle Fanning was playful as she donned a gold gown for a snap on the toilet at the Critics Choice Awards in 2022.
Charlize Theron and Winnie Harlow have equally made restrooms glamorous with toilets almost just a prop in the background of their photos.
Madonna, Billie Elish, and Emilia Clarke have each been caught with toilet tissue at the ready.
