SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Last winter, we got snow. Not so much in the spring, but before that, in the months of December, January, and February – it got deep.
We’re hoping for another good season of snow, because KELOLAND has gone through autumn in varying degrees of drought.

In the 2024 KELOLAND Live Doppler Winter Special, KELOLAND’s four meteorologists breakdown the chances for experiencing a La Nina or El Nino winter, explain how artificial intelligence is used to forecast weather, the changes coming to cold weather terminology and Meteorologist Scot Mundt’s annual snowfall prediction.
