X FACTOR’S Levi Davis disappeared in Barcelona two years ago – but his grief-stricken mum is begging UK cops to lead the hunt for her missing son.
The 24-year-old singer and rugby player was last seen in the Spanish city in October 2022 before mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Heartbroken mum Julie from Solihull, West Midlands, has labelled the lack of progress in her son’s investigation as “frustrating” as she urges UK cops to lead the investigation.
But her desperate pleas have been brushed aside as UK cops say the investigation is being run by Spanish officers who will help “if there are any further developments”, according to the BBC.
They also say they’ll continue to “offer support to Levi’s family”.
Julie continues to demand answers surrounding her son’s mystery disappearance.
She told the BBC: “Until a body is found, I have to remain hopeful.
“It’s very hard being asked all the questions from other family and there being no update to give.
“I don’t know if my son is dead or alive. He’s my baby and he’s very vulnerable and I just want him home.”
A mere few days before the second anniversary of his disappearance, cops admitted to having “no new leads”.
Police said they were not planning to use the milestone anniversary date of the Brit’s disappearance to make a public appeal for information because they had “nothing new to offer.”
And court officials confirmed their probe remained suspended and would only be reactivated if new information came to light.
The Mossos d’Esquadra, the Catalan police force Levi’s disappearance was reported to, said: “Our investigation remains open but we have nothing new we can tell you about.
“There are no plans for a public appeal for information coinciding with the second anniversary of Levi’s disappearance.”
Levi’s disappearance after he was last seen at The Old Irish pub sparked a massive search in Barcelona but to no avail.
The singer was seen walking up Las Ramblas before his trail went cold.
A port search and another in the Llobregat Delta area last May failed to yield any clues.
Cops said four cruise ship staff saw a person in the water, shouting for help in English, wearing a light-coloured T-shirt like Levi was seen in at 6.30am on October 30 — eight hours after he was last spotted on CCTV.
A lifebuoy was thrown to him but a subsequent search by police and the coastguard found nothing.
A well-placed police source added: “No-one is actively working on this case police-wise or in the courts on a day-to-day basis.
LEVI DAVIS DISAPPEARANCE TIMELINE
October 25 – Posted video on Instagram in which he talked about being blackmailed by criminals, who threatened to kill him and his family. It was originally deleted.
October 29 – Travelled to Barcelona from Ibiza and sent a video from the ferry in which he can be heard saying: “Hi mum… it’s beautiful.”
October 29 – Was seen around 10.30pm on CCTV leaving the Old Irish Pub. Close friend Mike Guida revealed he was left a message by Levi soon after he left the pub. He also made a mystery payment from his phone hours before.
October 30 – Levi’s phone signal was last detected close to Barcelona’s Sants Estació mainline train station overnight.
November 17 – Cops reported to be investigating two new sightings of Levi after he was potentially spotted just minutes from the pub.
November 19 – Levi’s passport was found in the port area of Barcelona, near a cargo shipment. His mum revealed his bank card had not been used since he vanished and only had €40 on him.
December 9 – Private Investigator Gavin Burrows begins working on the case and he offers a £10,000 reward for information leading to discovering what happened to Levi.
January 27 – Gavin Burrows reveals Levi may have fled for his life from his flat to escape a Somali drug gang he owed money to.
February 1 – Levi’s Instagram had up to 38 contacts mysteriously deleted after he vanished, Burrows revealed. The names and how they were deleted could provide vital clues about what happened to him.
February 3 – The last video made by Levi resurfaces after being retrieved by Burrows and his team.
“That doesn’t mean police won’t look into any new information that comes their way.
“But the last big push was 17 months ago with the port searches.”
Another insider said: “The lead theory is that Levi drowned but proving that now is virtually mission impossible.”
The court investigation into the missing Worthing Raiders winger was halted last October, a year after he vanished.
A spokesman for the investigating magistrate at the city court which had been probing the disappearance said: “There are no updates in this case. It’s still provisionally archived.”
It comes as earlier this year, Levi’s family had hoped a new documentary on his disappearance would shed some light on the mystery.
A family rep has told The Sun that a production company has approached Julie to turn her son’s disappearance into a documentary.
They explained that while Levi’s family is desperate for answers, they want to wait for the right project.
“We are waiting for the opportunity that affords the best chance of finding out what happened,” they said.

He was in sunny Ibiza with his close friend Richard Squire when he told him he was going to see some friends in Barcelona – but he disappeared just hours after arriving on the mainland.

The rugby star had taken a boat from Ibiza with just £35 in his pocket and no change of clothes.
Just a few hours before he went missing, Levi had sent a bizarre video from the ferry’s deck to him mum.
“Hi mum… it’s beautiful,” Levi said.
The star’s disappearance sparked multiple theories – from having drowned to having gone missing “voluntarily” amid a £100,000 debt to a Somalian gang.
Levi’s friend Chantelle Small told The Sun his disappearance “makes no sense”, but she still lives in hope that he will be found alive.
She told The Sun: “I kept going online on his Instagram and it kept showing ‘activated yesterday’ or ‘activated today’.
“I suggested to his family to work out who has access to it as well because it gives you false hope.”
As well as the theory that Levi tragically drowned, detectives have kept other lines of enquiry open – previously saying there are “disturbing” elements to the case.
Levi’s mum, Julie, previously said the probe into her son’s disappearance had been “slow”.
Spanish police added to confusion by initially stating that Levi had “not gone missing voluntarily” before telling Julie her son has most likely drowned after wandering down to the port area.
Last year, The Sun tried to retrace the star’s steps in Ibiza where he stayed with friend Richard before travelling to Barcelona by ferry to “meet some mates”.
Levi played Premiership rugby union for Bath between 2017 and 2020, when he joined Ealing Trailfinders. A year later he signed for Worthing Raiders.
He appeared on the X-Factor in 2019 as part of the group Try Star with fellow rugby players Ben Foden and Thom Evans.
Already at the height of his rugby career with Bath, Levi signed a record deal and started playing small concerts and recording music.
