SHOPPERS have been wowed by a dress sold at M&S that looks almost identical to a Danish designer brand.
One style enthusiast said she’d received “so many compliments” when wearing the affordable dupe.

Ganni has gained a cult following among fashion fans but the price of their designs isn’t always affordable for everyone.
Lovers of a dupe have been on the hunt for a dress that looks similar to their Leopard Printed Cotton String Mini Dress.
The frock has a flattering round neckline and puff sleeves with an eye-watering £235 price tag.
Luckily, style enthusiasts have spotted a similar dress that’s £195 cheaper than the original.
M&S is selling its Animal Print Tie Neck Midaxi Waisted Dress for £39.50.
They describe it as having a “comfy relaxed fit” with ties that add a “touch of elegance” to the all-over leopard print.
The dress made entirely from viscose is sold in petite, regular, and tall with sizes ranging from 6 to 22.
A photo of a model wearing it shows the dress teamed with black flat slingback shoes and minimal jewellery.
They also suggest pairing the midaxi with a high-neck jumper and white trainers for a more casual look.
The tie-neck and leopard design could easily be mistaken for being from Ganni.
Shoppers have rated the M&S dress an impressive 4.2 stars out of a possible 5 and penned rave reviews.
“Really stylish dress & I’ve had so many compliments. Very easy to wear & suitable for all occasions during the day & night!” one person said.
“Beautiful dress and the size is a perfect fit. Got lots of compliments when wearing this dress. I love it,” another wrote.
“I have recommended this dress to two friends who both bought and love it because I love mine so much,” a third said.
“It’s really roomy, I am between sizes and sized down which was a good choice.
“The fabric and style are so nice and stylish. I’ll be wearing this lovely dress again and again. A real fashion winner from M&S here.”
Why Everyone Is Loving M&S
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
Another customer revealed they had tried multiple other retailers before being amazed by the M&S version.
“Oh how I love thee,” they said. “A great dress to transition into autumn and beyond.
“I wanted the Ganni one but couldn’t justify the price but the Ganni one is very gappy on the chest due to the multiple ties.
“I also tried a similar dress from another brand which had the same tie issue as not fortunate enough to go braless and the bra was very visible so this M&S version is a winner.”
“Gorgeous dress with lovely detail at an incredible price, lovely fabric and good fit,” another customer said.
“Another example of M&S creating their version of a luxury brand favourite at a fantastic price point.”
