Popular actor Aarya Babbar who essays the role of Kalikant Thakur in Zee TV’s show Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah, looks at the occasion of Diwali to be an occasion to spend time with family. He loves the positivity and renewed energy that the festival brings.
Says Aarya, “I believe the festival of Diwali is about spreading happiness, and the best part about Diwali is lighting up Diyas. It brings a very different and happy feeling as you watch the city get decorated so beautifully, and the cherry on the cake is people celebrating it with so much love.”
Talking about the togetherness that is observed during the festivities, Aarya states, “Everybody dresses up in the evening during Diwali, and it’s so much fun as you get to spend quality time with your family.”
Talking about his plans for Diwali, the actor states, “Every year, I make sure to go Diwali shopping with my family, and then do a get-together with all our close friends and relatives.”
“My favorite food during Diwali is Chhole- Bhature, Chhole- Chawal, and, needless to say, all the Punjabi delicacies. I am not a fan of bursting crackers, and since I am a Dog dad, it is my responsibility to take care of my dog child and other animals. So, this Diwali, I urge all my fans and viewers to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali by just lighting up Diyas and protecting our mother nature.”
