DIASPORA Insurance founder and CEO Jeff Madzingo was honoured for at this year’s Zim-UK Business Chamber Awards, winning the Business Driver accolade for his “significant” contribution in supporting businesses and “bringing people together”.
The awards were part of the chamber’s annual conference and retreat which was held at the Sketchley Grande Hotel and Spa in Hinkley, near Leicester.
The chamber brings together businesspeople of Zimbabwean and southern African heritage living and working in the United Kingdom.
Presenting the award, Zim-UK business chamber chairman, Kennedy Mwedziwendira, said Madzingo’s “contribution to the community, especially the Zimbabwean community has been very significant.
“He has been bringing people together for years.”
