Born May 14, 2000 Mikalya Demaiter is a former hockey player.
Mikayla shot to fame as a hockey goaltender for the Bluewater Hawks in Canada‘s Women’s Hockey League, during the 2018-19 season.
She appeared in 20 games, spending a total of 953 minutes and 57 seconds on the ice.
In those 20 games, Mikayla allowed 43 goals and saved 428 shots.
Despite being a successful goaltender, Mikayla stopped competing in the sport.
She quit due to injury at the age of 19 and launched a new career.
On April 20, 2019, she made an announcement on Instagram that she was moving away from hockey to pursue other career opportunities.
In the emotional post she wrote: “Dear Hockey, it is time to say goodbye.
“It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the time you will not be my number one focus.
“I want to thank you for all the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me.
“My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together.
“I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed.
“There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you. Thanks again for everything.”
Modelling
Since leaving hockey behind, Mikayla began taking her modelling career more seriously.
The Canadian goalie turned model uses her Instagram to post her professional modelling shots.
She promotes swimwear and has posed wearing hockey equipment for Playboy.
Mikayla has garnered over 3.2 million followers on Instagram and her posts gain a lot of attention from her fans.
In a post published on October 31, 2024, Mikayla was featured wearing a skimpy bikini.
The post was captioned saying: “Bringing a slice of heaven to Earth”, and it received almost 250,000 likes.
Mikayla also makes money by sharing adult video content on OnlyFans for a subscription of $14.99 a month.
Her OnlyFans page has over 124K likes.
With her social media presence growing, fans have dubbed her the “world’s sexiest ice hockey player.”
Dating
The Canadian model from Chatham, Ontario, is dating Kurtis Gabriel.
Born April 20, 1993, Kurtis Gabriel is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward.
The couple have been dating since April 2020.
Prior to this, Mikayla dated another Canadian ice hockey player named, Dan Davies.
