Cam Newton interrupts Stephen A. Smith live on First Take and asks Molly Qerim question over ‘Irrelevant’ team

CAM Newton has made his stance clear about the state of the Dallas Cowboys.

On one of his first First Take appearances, the former NFL quarterback sounded off against the Cowboys.

While Stephen A. Smith was delivering a segment about the Dallas Cowboys, Newton jutted in with his own opinion.

“Can I tell you my feelings? Newton said.

“Why are we talking about the irrelevant Dallas Cowboys?”

That statement seemed to send Molly Qerim and Ryan Clark into a frenzy as they scrambled to defend why they were speaking about the team.

“People care! This is the team,” Qerim said.

However, many fans were in agreement with Newton, sharing that they think First Take talks about the Cowboys too much.

“The cowboys could be 2-7 and they would still talk about them DAILY,” one fan said.

“He right I wish they just talk bout good teams,” another fan said.

“Cam cooked! Media talking about the most irrelevant teams!” a third fan said.

“I got tired of watching 3 10 minute segments per show about the cowboys lol,” a fourth fan said.

“He’s not wrong, they are definitely irrelevant,” a fifth fan said.

With a loss on Sunday, the Cowboys dropped to 3-5 and will likely fall even further as quarterback Dak Prescott is injured.

The team is on a three-game losing streak and have yet to win a game at home this season.

It is understandable why Newton is confused about First Take talking more about the Cowboys than a team like the Washington Commanders, wo are 7-2 within the same division.

Newton was hired just a few weeks ago by ESPN, and he already appears ready to shake things up on the show with his opinions.
