Theo, now 38, said she is “extremely grateful” for the past two years and vowed to “take on the next step of my journey with everything I’ve got”.

And the mum-of-one has candidly opened up about her terminal diagnosis.

The Edinburgh-based ceramics expert told The Times: “At 38, I’m facing the reality this could be one of the last Christmases my four-year-old son Jonah and my partner, Alex, will share with me.

“In September I was told a brain tumour that had been almost entirely removed two years ago may be growing.

“Since the surgery — and many exhausting hours of chemotherapy — I had begun to live month-to-month rather than taking every day as it comes. There was hope.”

The much-loved BBC star said she had a glioblastoma in June 2022 after experiencing six months of migraine attacks that were so severe that she could not bend over or lie down.

The disease is the most aggressive and most common type of cancer that originates in the brain.

The telly expert said: “It’s with some heartbreak that I can confirm my glioblastoma has started regrowing.

“Although this was always an inevitability it has been a difficult couple of weeks for me and my family, as we deal with the news and await a treatment plan.

“I am extremely grateful for having had such a good quality of life over the last two years.

“I intend to take on the next step of my journey with everything I’ve got.”

The TV personality became a patron of the charity Brain Tumour Research in November 2023.
