A CONTROVERSY-ridden pastor has been jailed for assaulting a woman who was protesting the mysterious suicide death of his wife, police said.

Miller has been surrounded by controversy since his late wife, Mica Miller, died by suicide in April[/caption]
The altercation took place Wednesday afternoon as Sandra Karon demonstrated outside the Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Karon was asking for a hard look at the death of Mica – a 30-year-old woman who died from a self-inflicted gunshot in April during a messy divorce with Miller.
Mica’s death was ruled a suicide, but her family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Miller, accusing him of abusing her.
The suit has since been dropped, and no charges relating to his wife’s death have been filed against Miller, a dad of three from a previous marriage.
The FBI raided his home on November 1, but it’s unclear what federal agents were looking for.
Mica’s death has sparked a movement among locals who gathered around the courthouse during the lawsuit’s court proceedings and appeared at Solid Rock to shout for justice for Mica.
In the past day, the church has gone dark, and movers have been seen taking everything from the building.
On Wednesday at around 2:30 pm, Miller was walking around the abandoned campus when he got into a confrontation with Karon, she claimed to CBS affiliate WBTW.
During the spat, he allegedly got inches from her face while demanding, “What are you gonna do?”
“He had his phone up in my face and tapped the brim of my face while saying it, which then triggered me to scream, ‘Don’t touch me,’” she said.
Dramatic video of the fight shows Karon chasing Miller through the parking lot and yelling “Don’t touch me” as he walked away.
Karon came to the church to see what was going on after hearing that everything was being moved out of the building.
After she arrived, she thought she saw Miller filming her, which sparked the argument.
“I could see where they might say it was antogonistic,” she told the outlet.
“But to antagonize someone into doing something illegal, am I responsible for him doing that?”
Miller was charged with third-degree assault and spent the night in jail before he has a bail hearing Thursday.
