I didn’t think we’d get a Lego Millennium Falcon deal this good until Black Friday

I was expecting the Rise of Skywalker Lego Millennium Falcon to be discounted for Black Friday, but three whole weeks before the sale? Get over it. We couldn’t be so lucky.

Except we could, as it happens. (Insert your “never tell me the odds” joke here.) The hugely popular Lego Millennium Falcon based on Rise of Skywalker is now at its lowest price ever. You can download the set for $95.19 on Amazon rather than $169.99, which is a record.

A month or so ago I reported that the kit had dropped to $108.79… and that was significant in itself. I didn’t even expect it to crash more in cost, and certainly not before Black Friday Lego Deals at the end of November. (In fact, I went so far as to say “I’d be shocked if the price dropped much further.”) Since this offer is so unexpected, I wouldn’t dwell on it for long – there’s no way of knowing when it’s going to go away.

While I can’t find a UK equivalent of this offer, it’s worth pointing out that fans across the pond can get the larger UCS Falcon for its lowest ever price. £525 at Argos instead of £735.

This version of the Lego Millennium Falcon is among them best lego setand it has popularity to match. If you ask me, it’s an excellent balance of detail, cost and complexity overall. Although not as massive or intricate as Lego UCS Millennium Falcon (which is arguably the best kit Lego has ever made), it’s much easier to display as a result and still crams in plenty of references to the saga. Sure, it might be based on one of the most divisive Star Wars movies. But that doesn’t date the ship itself, and the model showcases the galaxy’s fastest piece of junk at its best. If you want a showstopper but don’t fancy breaking the bank like you would with the Ultimate Collector’s Edition, it’s ideal.

Do you still feel that it is a little expensive, or big? Don’t worry. I would point you in the direction of the new Lego Millennium Falcon (75375)a smaller option that doesn’t skimp on quality. I’d personally say it’s the best option for most people, as it’s much cheaper and doesn’t take up an entire shelf by itself.
