NEITHER Rangers nor Hearts picked up wins in their European adventures on Thursday.
But whilst Rangers earned a creditable point against Olympiakos in the Europa League, Hearts were left to rue missed chances as Heidenheim left Edinburgh 2-0 winners in the Conference League.

Gers return to Ibrox for the visit of the Jambos on Sunday, and neutrals will hope for a better spectacle than the drab 0-0 draw between the sides at Tynecastle on the opening day of the Premiership season back in August.
Philippe Clement‘s side have played in two different competitions since their last league outing, the ill-fated trip Pittodrie which ended in defeat to Aberdeen.
But a 2-1 Premier Sports Cup semi-final win over Motherwell and that hard-earned point in Athens have eased some of the pressure on the Belgian boss.
Defeat here would crank the heat up again though, with Gers currently trailing unbeaten leaders Celtic and Aberdeen by nine points.
Hearts managed a 2-1 win over St Johnstone last weekend, but will be wary that their last visit to Ibrox ended in a 5-0 hammering under Steven Naismith in February.
Neil Critchley’s men will also be looking over their shoulders at rivals Hibs, with the Edinburgh foes separated by just a point in the relegation positions.
It’s two teams who will be seeking the win after disappointing league seasons to this point, and they meet in a Sunday evening smackdown.
