In a heartfelt mission to aid schools battered by Thailand’s recent floods, Theppadungporn Coconut pledged an impressive 10 million baht to support flood-stricken communities.

Through its charitable Love Sharing project, the company is offering 200,000 baht per school to 50 institutions impacted by the devastating September-October floods, aiming to rebuild premises and reignite hope among students and staff.

Chosen by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), these schools have suffered severe structural damage, with landslides destroying buildings, classrooms, libraries, and even essential supplies like textbooks. This lack of resources has put education on hold for many young students, making Theppadungporn Coconut’s support crucial.

Since its launch in 2006, the Love Sharing project has become a major charitable initiative, spreading goodwill throughout Thailand. To date, over 700 schools across 77 provinces have benefitted, receiving scholarships and support for various activities.

Company president Jareeporn Theppadungporn lives by the motto, “If you have it, you have to share it,” a guiding principle behind the brand’s widespread community work.

But Theppadungporn Coconut’s outreach doesn’t end with education. The Love Sharing project also covers Love Sharing for Religion, helping maintain religious sites and traditions; Love Sharing for Public Health, enhancing access to quality healthcare with donated medical supplies; and Love Sharing for the Environment, a programme focused on sustainable practices to lessen environmental impact. In total, over 1,000 agencies have received 270 million baht under these initiatives, a true testament to Theppadungporn Coconut’s dedication to social and environmental upliftment.

“We want to play a part in school rehabilitation and restore confidence among students affected by the floods,” said managing director Apisak Theppadungporn.

With brands like Chao Koh and Mae Ploy reaching over 85 countries, Theppadungporn Coconut is dedicated to making a positive impact both at home and abroad, reported The Nation.
