TACO Bell just added a new item to its menu, but fans of the fast-food chain aren’t exactly thrilled.
Many think the restaurant, famous for its Mexican-inspired favorites like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, is starting to come off as a bit “desperate.”

The buzz started when Taco Bell announced the nationwide launch of their Crispy Chicken Nuggets this month.
These nuggets are made with all-white meat chicken, marinated in mild jalapeño buttermilk, and coated with a crunchy breading that includes tortilla bits for an extra kick.
They’re served with a choice of three dipping sauces: Taco Bell’s classic Bell Sauce, which is a savory and tangy blend with hints of chili peppers.
Then there’s the Jalapeño Honey Mustard, which is mixing sweet honey, spicy jalapeño, and zesty mustard.
And finally a new addition, Hidden Valley Ranch Fire Sauce, which adds a bold twist to the lineup.
On top of that, Taco Bell is bringing back their fan-favorite Nacho Fries, available in a value meal alongside the nuggets.
The meals come with either five or ten nuggets, plus fries, for a satisfying combo.
Foodies can grab this new menu item at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide starting December 19.
But not everyone’s excited – many fans have taken to X to share their frustration and disappointment.
“Taco Bell’s getting so desperate they had to add nuggets to the menu?! We really are in the diversify or die era,” one customer raged.
“Can’t they just stick to tacos,” commented a second social media user.
“Chicken nuggets at Taco Bell, this just doesn’t seem right. Will you try it?” questioned a third.

Some other foodies were left confused by the new added item, with one writing: “OMG! This is either going to be a terrible idea or the best thing ever, nothing in between.”
However, not everyone was unhappy with the news as some shared the excitement to try it out.
