Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez dine with Trump at Mar-a-Lago weeks after the Washington Post refused to endorse the presidential candidate

Billionaire Jeff Bezos was spotted strolling into Mar-a-Lago Wednesday night to enjoy dinner with President-elect Donald Trump.

The Amazon founder arrived at the Florida mansion with his fiancee Lauren Sanchez for their first meal with Trump following his recent election victory.

Footage shared on social media platform X shows the couple holding hands and walking alongside Trump as they greet other guests.

The tech mogul wore a navy blue suit and white shirt, while his partner Sanchez posed in a little black dress and stiletto heels.

Bezos is one of the latest tech giants to rub shoulders with Trump ahead of his inauguration on January 20, 2025.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Bezos said he planned to donate $1 million to the president-elect’s inaugural fund

Trump and Bezos’ relationship has been rocky throughout the election, but appeared to improve after Bezos-owned newspaper, the Washington Post, refused to endorse a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.

This move broke the tradition of the publication historically supporting the Democratic Party.

Bezos’ visit to Mar-a-Lago comes after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg traveled to Florida last month to dine with Trump at his compound.

Zuckerberg said he was “grateful” for the opportunity to meet the president-elect in an effort to get into his good graces before returning to the White House, after years of animosity between the two moguls.

Trump has previously launched several public attacks on Zuckerberg over his perception that he and other conservatives have been unfairly censored by Meta.

This included claims in Trump’s book Save America earlier this year, in which he claimed Zuckerberg conspired against him in the 2020 election and vowed Zuckerberg would “spend the rest of his life in prison” if he did it again.

But the billionaires appeared to have put their differences aside this week in Florida, with a Meta spokesperson saying in a statement that Zuckerberg was invited to the meeting by Trump.

“It is an important time for the future of American innovation,” the statement read.

“Mark was grateful for the invitation to join President Trump for dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming administration.
