This change will affect three other NFL teams and also take place in Week 17.

Last week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the NFL sent a new memo claiming that four teams will rock a special “holiday-inspired uniform patch” for Weeks 16 and Week 17.
The Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers will wear the patch on Saturday and again on Christmas Day.
The four teams only play on those two days as they are competing in the NFL Holiday Remix.
The small patch will display two candy canes forming an “X” behind the NFL shield logo.
On Saturday, the NFL Holiday Remix begins with the Chiefs hosting the Texans at 1:00 pm Eastern on NBC and Peacock, and then the Steelers facing the division-rival Ravens at 4:30 pm Eastern on Fox.
The second half of the NFL Holiday Remix will be on Christmas Day and will be available to watch only on Netflix.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will take on Russell Wilson and the Steelers, followed by Lamar Jackson and the Ravens squaring off against the Texans at 4:30 pm Eastern.
The Texans’ X account posted a picture of the patch that they will wear in the two games, and fans shared their approval of the new jersey change.
“This rules,” one commented.
“Love it,” another wrote.
“This goes hard,” a third added.
“The uniform looks nice in that picture,” a fourth said.
The Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs, and Texans have already clinched playoff berths.
The two Christmas games will be star-studded events, as singer Mariah Carey will deliver a taped performance of her all-time hit holiday song All I Want For Christmas Is You during the game opening performance.
Beyonce will also perform songs for the halftime game in Houston from her latest album Cowboy Carter.
The NFL has experience with placing special patches on their uniforms.
This year, all teams that performed on Thanksgiving had a special John Madden patch to remember the late coach and iconic broadcaster.
The league also has patches for every current player who’s won the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
The winner is given a small patch of the trophy to sport on the front of their jerseys.
