The Warriors were dismantled the entire night, but Curry and Draymond Green were among the worst on the court.
Curry failed to register a single field goal, scoring just two points on the night.
He was 0-for-7 from the field, going 0-for-6 from three.
Green failed to even score a point, missing all four of his shots in the 19 minutes he played.
“Damn, that happen,” Green said.
“Oh s***. That’s crazy. They did a good job. Give them some credit.”
Green registered a monstrous -42 on the night while Curry was right behind him at -41.
“First time for everything, right?” Curry said.
“I never thought that would be a situation or a result of the game.
“From the very jump, they kind of punched us in the mouth. We didn’t have an answer.
“That was kind of embarrassing.”
The Grizzlies set a franchise record by dropping 27 three-pointers on the Warriors that they simply couldn’t overcome.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr called it a “humbling” experience.
“It was just a humbling night all around,” Kerr said.
“I mean, they took it to us. They were great. We just couldn’t get anything going.
New rights deal
The NBA signed an 11-year deal with three networks for the league’s rights from the 2025-26 season.
And there will be no games on TNT for the first time since the network launched in 1988.
The Walt Disney Company will continue to show the league with 80 regular-season games across ESPN and ABC.
They will also show around 18 playoff games from the first and second round, a Conference Finals series for 10 of the 11 years, and remain the home of the NBA Finals.
NBC will return as an NBA broadcaster for the first time since 2002.
The network will show up to 100 games per season across it’s channels and Peacock streaming service.
It will also be the home of NBA All-Star and show approximately 28 playoff games from the first and second round.
NBC will show one Conference Finals Series for six of the 11 years, rotating with new broadcaster Amazon Prime.
Amazon will show 66 NBA regular-season games including one on Black Friday.
The streaming service is also the home of the latter stages of the NBA Cup and the entire Play-In Tournament.
Prime will also broadcast around one third of the playoff games in the first and second round.
“You lose by 51. That’s humbling. So what I know about this team, this is the second time we’ve been blown out.
“We got blown out in Cleveland early in the season, so I know who we are. I know what our team is about.
“I know we’ve got competitors. I know we’re going to bounce back and we’re going to regroup, so I’m not concerned about that.
“But we’ve got a lot of work to do to execute.”
The Warriors are still above .500 on the season, sitting at 14-12, but they are on a stretch where they have lost nine of their last 11 games.
