The fear of copycat attacks after Luigi Mangione who is the prime suspect in the fatal shooting of CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson is coming true.
Nathan Mahoney, 32, is facing charges of stabbing the head of the Anderson Express Inc.
The stabbing happened when the Company head was holding a meeting at their office in Muskegon, Michigan, on Tuesday.

The motive behind the attack is still unclear but Fruitport Township Police Department are not denying that it could be a Luigi Mangione copycat attack.
Luigi Mangione has been charged with fatally shooting CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson and was nabbed after a huge manhunt was launched.
He was arrested from a McDonald’s outlet where an employee recognized him and alerted the police.

He has been charged with first-degree murder, possessing an illegal weapon and forging identification documents.
A couple of days later after the fatal shooting of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson, Nathan Mahoney attacked his boss Erik Denslow of Anderson Express Inc. and stabbed him at 9:20 AM local time on Tuesday.
After stabbing Denslow, the suspect tried to flee the scene but was apprehended within 15 minutes.
Denslow was rushed to a hospital where he had to undergo emergency surgery.
He is in stable condition and is expected to recover completely.
Nathan Mahoney’s colleagues told police that he had a cool demeanor and no obvious motive was found for his sudden outburst.
The suspect was seen smiling in his mugshot picture.
Fruitport Township Deputy Chief Greg Poulson told media house News 8,
“We haven’t ruled out copycat motives in regards to this. I think that comes to everyone’s mind at this time. We’re going through all his social accounts, all his electronic media and trying to determine a motive for this act,”
Nathan Mahoney is facing charges of attempted murder and trying to flee and eluding a police official.
Mary Ann Sabo, a spokesperson for Anderson Express, said
“We remain in shock over the incident that happened at our plant yesterday. Our first thought is with our president, who has a good prognosis for a full and speedy recovery. We are also focused on supporting our employees as they process this senseless assault.”
