A WHOPPING $1 million winning lottery ticket is still yet to be claimed with players being urged to check their numbers.
The Mega Millions ticket was purchased at a QuikTrip store in Missouri with the draw date coming six weeks ago – leaving the winner slowly running out of time to claim the cash.

The ticket was purchased from a QuikTrip store on 10150 N.E. Cookingham Road, Kansas City.
The winning numbers were 5, 17, 35, 55 and 69 with the final one being 19.
All prizes worth over $5,001 mean the winning player has to collect their prize in person.
They must bring a form of photo identification containing their name and address and often need their Social Security card with them.
Mega Millions prizes can only be collected in the states where tickets were sold.
Meaning the future millionaire will need to travel back to Kansas to get the winnings.
The prize money is only available for a few more months with the expiry date being set for May 14, 2025.
Another unclaimed Mega Millions ticket belongs to a winner from Camden, Delaware.
The ticket was sold at a Redner’s Market outlet ahead of the draw on August 20.
The prize matched all five white Mega Millions balls, and the gambler forked out an extra dollar on the Megaplier.
It comes as one Mega Millions player was just one number away from taking home a $690 million jackpot.
But they suffered a blow when their prize was cut thanks to a state policy.
The gambler defied odds of approximately one in 12 million to land their fortune on the game of chance.
They matched five numbers on Friday’s draw, and normally, this would mean they would walk away with at least $1 million.
But, they only took home $359,992, per The Island Packet.
This is because in California, prizes are paid out based on the tickets sold and winners.
