After receiving the delivery, the customer took to social media.

Although clearly annoyed, the customer started her post praising the retailer.

The tweet started, “I love @Target.”

It then followed up, “I really do.”

The customer then cut to the chase, writing, “But can we PLEASE stop sending my stuff with Target tape and bullseyes all over the box when it gets to my house?”

“I know I bought something from ya’ll.”

“You don’t have to put it all over the box for someone to steal it.”

It wasn’t long before the post caught the attention of Target’s official account.

The message read, “Thanks for reaching out to share your concerns about the packaging on your recent shipments.”

“We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.”

The official Target account ended the response by sharing, “We will make sure that it’s passed along to our shipping teams.”

This encounter tweet was posted a few days ago.

It’s not clear yet whether Target will take the advice of its customers and rethink its packaging.

For $99 a year, members get access to the following perks:

  • Unlimited, free same-day delivery on orders over $35
  • An extra 30 days to return your items
  • Free two-day shipping on 100,000s of items
