I bought my Christmas tree from Temu but it was a fail – people ask if it’s on Ozempic & say it wasn’t worth decorating

A WOMAN has revealed that she bought a Christmas tree from Temu but it was a total fail.

Rather than forking out cash on a real tree, a bargain hunter named Lady Mildred decided to order one online from Temu instead.

Not only have people wondered why Lady Mildred bothered to decorate the ‘Christmas stick’, but others have questioned whether it is on Ozempic[/caption]

But as a result of buying the tree from the online e-commerce marketplace, Lady Mildred was unable to see the Christmas tree in the flesh before it arrived.

And when the postman delivered it to her home and she opened it up, she was left in hysterics

Whilst the content creator didn’t confirm how much she paid for the tree, there are a variety of options available on the site, with prices starting from just £3.

And what Lady Mildred thought was going to be an easy to assemble, classic green Christmas tree, instead has been described as a ‘Christmas stick’.

Social media users even questioned if her tree is on antidiabetic medication Ozempic, which is also used for weight loss, and claimed it wasn’t worth decorating.

Posting on social media, Lady Mildred shared a short clip, which has now gone viral

At the start of the video, we saw the young woman pose in the mirror, seconds before revealing her blunder.

Lady Mildred then shared a picture of her Christmas ‘tree’ as she penned: “POV: You bought [a] Christmas tree from Temu.”

Alongside laughing and crying emojis, the woman posted an image of her online purchase, which she decorated with Christmas lights and just three red baubles.

But rather than fluffy branches, the Temu shopper claimed to have only received the middle part of the tree, leaving many open-mouthed.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mildred_ama, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly racked up 2.7 million views.

Not only has the clip been saved 13,300 times, but it’s also been re-shared by 104,400 people.

So… it’s a Christmas branch?!

How to look after your real Christmas tree

HERE’S what you need to know if you’re buying a real Christmas tree:

First thing’s first: buy a pot (if it doesn’t come in one already).

You’ll need to treat your tree just like a houseplant and give it water and attention.

Make sure the container has good drainage – and it’s a good idea to put something underneath to catch the excess water.

Check the soil everyday to make sure it’s not drying out.

If it feels dry, give it some water. If it still feels moist, leave it alone as too much water can also kill a tree.

Also check the LED bulbs on your tree lights aren’t too hot as they could burn it, and keep your tree away from radiators.

When Christmas is over, try planting it in the garden so you can dig it up and use it again next year.

It’s a good idea to take it out of its pot when you do re-plant it though, as large trees don’t survive well in pots as their roots need space to grow.

Another added: “Girl that’s a Christmas Rod.”

A third commented: “So… it’s a Christmas branch?!?”

The fact that you even decorated it is killing me

At the same time, many joked that Lady Mildred’s ‘tree’ was on Ozempic, as one user posted: “Ozempic tree.”

Meanwhile, a second questioned: “Is it on Ozempic?”

Not only this, but users were gobsmacked that Lady Mildred had even bothered to spend time decorating her tree.

One user laughed: “The fact that you even decorated it is killing me.”

And another wrote: “The audacity to decorate and plug it in.”
