Zara Dar, once a PhD student in the engineering field, became popular after she chose OnlyFans over academia. The OnlyFans Model clarified that she is not a Pakistani but the nations of her origin which she stated left many scratching their heads.
Zara Dar stated that she was of mixed origin and had an Indian, American, Southern European, Middle Eastern, and Persian heritage.
Zara Dar’s Move from Academia to OnlyFans
Elaborating on why she chose a career with OnlyFans instead of academia she said that it was not financial but the issues ailing academia.
Zara Dar is also a subject of much misinformation, especially since her migration into the Adult Content industry.
Zara Dar also shared a video on YouTube in which she elaborated on the rationale of her decision. She said in the video which she posted on X,
“My PhD was in Engineering. Dropping out of my PhD was my choice. Please watch the full video if you would like to know all the reasons. Money was only part of the story—the state of academia today was the primary reason:
Dar also clarified her origins and said,
“With all due respect, I am not Pakistani. I believe some people are confusing me with a beautiful influencer named “Zara Dar” @ZaraNaeemDar. I am American, born and raised, with a mixed background: American, Persian, Southern European, Middle Eastern, and Indian,”
She also revealed that her full last name was Darcy which later she shortened to Dar. She also clarified several misinformations related to her which included she only had only one user name on her social media handle. She also lamented that many people shared deepfake content labeling it in her name.
She also categorically stated that she has never promoted any products. Also, a meme coin which was released with her picture as a profile is also not related in any way to her.
Ms Dar boasts over 1 Lakh subscribers on YouTube and has uploaded content related to tutorials on machine learning and neural networks.
Ms Dar also stated that her decision to make the switch over to Adult Content Creation was also a desire to unshackle herself from the expectations of an academic institution or the constrictions of a corporate office.
She also talked about the financial benefits and said she has made $1 million which helped her pay off her family’s mortgage and buy herself a car.
