Amid the intense war ahead of the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, the AAP plans to file a police complaint against the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of using money power to influence voters. AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Tuesday said that the BJP is distributing money among voters by checking their voter ID in the New Delhi Assembly constituency, which Arvind Kejriwal disputes.
“Today Parvesh Verma was arrested for distributing money at his official residence, which he got as an MP. Women from different slums in different areas of New Delhi constituency were called there and given Rs 1,100 in an envelope,” Atishi alleged.

“I want to tell the Enforcement Directorate and CBI that cash worth crores of rupees is still lying at Parvesh Verma’s house, go now. The Election Commission should get ED and Delhi Police to raid Pravesh Verma’s official residence and arrest him immediately. Now,” she further said.
She said the BJP is trying to win a “lost election”. She also said that the pamphlet in which the money was distributed had pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president JP Nadda. She said AAP will file a police complaint as well as write to the Election Commission on the matter.
