Ex-Liverpool goalkeeper reignites feud with Scotland star as he labels him ‘worst player I’ve ever seen’ in shock tirade

A Scotland star has been blasted as ‘the worst player I’ve ever seen’ in a former teammate’s astonishing tirade.

Former Liverpool keeper Kamil Grabara tore into the Scots ace as he reignited their feud.

Poland international Grabara, 25, spent five years with Liverpool and currently plays in Germany for Wolfsburg.

Prior to moving to the Bundesliga in the summer, the stopper spent three years with Copenhagen in Denmark.

At the beginning of the year, that’s where Scotland defender Scott McKenna headed on loan.

Out of favour at Nottingham Forest, the centre back joined Copenhagen on loan until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

But it’s fair to say Grabara and McKenna did NOT see eye to eye.

Astonishing reports in Danish outlet Bold in April claimed that the two players had to be SEPARATED at training after ‘getting into a fight.’

The report said McKenna got ‘fed up’ of Grabara shouting at him and told the keeper to ‘shut up.’

It was claimed the argument then intensified and the duo had to be separated.

Both players ended up leaving Copenhagen after the conclusion of last season.

Grabara headed for Wolfsburg, while McKenna returned to parent club Nottingham Forest where his contract expires.

The former Aberdeen man is now plying his trade in La Liga with Las Palmas.

While the training ground bust up was several months ago and the players have both moved onto pastures new, it seems like Grabara still holds a grudge.

Appearing on Polish podcast Foot Truck, Grabara launched into an astonishing tirade against McKenna.

He described the defender as the WORST player he’s ever seen.

Grabara said he simply ‘couldn’t stand’ McKenna – and reckons the feeling was very much mutual.

The keeper blasted: “I think that most of the players that I played with, despite some of my expressions attitude, were grateful.

“I had one case though with a Scot in Copenhagen, Scott McKenna was the worst footballer I’ve ever seen in my life.

“Let’s be clear – he was the worst footballer I’ve seen. He now plays in Las Palmas, I don’t know how on earth.

“He was the worst footballer I’ve ever played with and I just had no patience for him.

“I had situations in training where we were working on some play and he did it his way three times.

“And the fourth time I told him not to do that. And the fifth time he did it again. I couldn’t stand it, and there were some minor or major fights.

“It was a situation when I just couldn’t stand the player, he probably couldn’t stand me either, so that will be clearly why he didn’t treat me as a great friend.

“But he was the only footballer with whom I didn’t feel like training with and I didn’t feel like talking to him.”
