DANILO has revealed just how much Philippe Clement hit the roof at half-time against St Mirren.
Rangers trailed the Buddies 1-0 at the break after a below-par first half.

Brazilian striker Danilo stepped off the bench to level before Caolan Boyd-Munce’s injury time strike won it for Stephen Robinson’s side.
Asked if it was the angriest he’d ever seen his boss, Danilo said: “Yeah. Obviously it wasn’t good enough. It wasn’t our standard, that first half.
“So coming in the dressing room 1-0 behind, it wasn’t what we wanted, especially not being at home as well.
“We knew our quality and that we knew that we could bounce back. That’s what we showed but then we were just unlucky to concede a goal in the last minute.”
The Boxing Day loss was the first time the Gers had lost to the Buddies in the league since way back on Christmas Eve 2011.
It also saw the Ibrox side fall a massive 12 points behind Celtic ahead of next Thursday’s Old Firm clash at Ibrox.
Afterwards raging Clement questioned his players’ mentality and claimed he could have hooked as many as eight players at the break.
In the end Connor Barron and Nedim Bajrami were the half-time fall-guys.
Gers had a major spell of pressure after Danilo and Nico Raskin were introduced, with Vaclav Cerny crashing against the bar.
But Buddies No1 Ellery Balcombe and the defence in front of him performed heroically to keep them at bay.
Clement said he hadn’t seen the loss coming after a run which had seen them go unbeaten over 90 minutes in every competition since the end of October.
But they must now try to bounce back when they visit Motherwell tomorrow.
Danilo – who now has four goals from his last five games – said: “When we scored to make it level it became like a normal game again.
“I thought we were dominant afterwards. When we scored we were pushing them back and then we had some chances so I thought we would get the three points.
“We knew it would be a fight and a tough game going there so we prepared ourselves to try to be as good as possible but sometimes it doesn’t work.
“We tried our best then they defended well in the first half but we knew our quality and we knew in the second half we would have to be better.
“That’s what we did. But we were just unlucky we had the goal conceded in the last minute.”
The clash came five days after Gers’ win over Dundee lifted them up to second spot and was the first of a relentless midweek run which stretches all the way until the end of January.
But Danilo insists the number of games isn’t taking its toll on the Ibrox side.
He said: “No, I don’t think so because I think we are used to it. I also think that’s what we want – as many games as possible and for everybody to be available in the squad.
“We just have to be strong and then I think we can bounce back. I think we showed that last year as well.
“So that’s the situation – we’re going to bounce back. I know 100% percent it is just about us, this situation.
“It’s a good thing that on Sunday we have another opportunity to show and be ready.”
Gers haven’t lost at home in the league this term ahead of the Hoops’ visit but that’s now four defeats on the road.
Asked what he puts that issue down to, Danilo, 25, added: “I don’t know. It’s just a situation, it’s just about us.
“So if it’s away, if it’s home, I think it’s just about us and showing our qualities.
“If it’s not happening then it’s just about getting back to work and going about things day-by-day and then just being ready for what’s coming.
“I think that Sunday is a good opportunity to be ready.”
