Auf der CES 2025 hat Gaming-Hardware-Hersteller Zotac from Prototyp des Nachfolgers to Zotac Zone-Gaming-Handheld vorgestellt. Neben der weißen Farbe gibt es auch im Ineren bereits einige bekannten Neuerungen.
Darum ist das important: Die erste Zotac Zone ist letztes Jahr erschienen und hat von uns den »Herausragend«-Award erhalten. The PC handheld could sich for all ways senas schönen AMOLED-Bildschirmes and Premium-Controller-Features von der Masse abheben. Although the Gaming Performance was already on a competitive level, Geräte, mit mehr Leistung, appeared soon. Zotac scheint deswegen ein frühes Upgrade to planen.
Die Zotac Zone 2 in detail
Äüßerlich scheint die einzige Neuerung das weiße Gehäuse und graue Steuerkreuz zu sein. The predecessor is matt-grey with a silver Steuerkreuz. The new gaming hardware is built in with improved capacity and efficiency.

Screen: The large AMOLED screen with 7 Zoll with 1080p-Auflösung, 120 Hz and 800 Nits cannot be used. Already in the predecessor, we were convinced.

Battery: Etwas enttäuschend ist hingegen the same battery with a capacity of 48.5 Wh. This is two levels of other game-handheld devices, without being noticed in more Geräte, which is much larger. Immerhin verspricht der neue Prozessor eine verbesserte Effizienze, was längere Spielsessions erlauben sollte.
Dieser hatten is a Standard TDP of 28 Watt and has a relatively large Spielraum of 15 to 54 Watt. Auch an NPU (50 TOPS) for KI-Prozesse is a Bord.
Connections: As in the predecessor, there are two USB4 ports and one slot for a microSD card.
Controls: In addition, the Zotac Zone also has extensive controller functions:

- D-Pad with mechanical switch
Price and sales: Der Nachfolger der Zotac Zone wird noch dieses Jahr erscheinen. A concrete date and a price that is not called at all.
