Wannabe influencer wanted on drug charges, comments on his OWN mugshot – tells cops they ‘could have used a better photo’

A vain fugitive commented on his own ‘wanted’ mugshot to insist he was ‘better looking’ than what police posted online.

Wannabe influencer Luke Ruiz is wanted by police in a drug supply investigation in Newport, South Wales.

But Ruiz mocked officers on their social media appeal to say he had started a new life in Spain – and wished officers had chosen a more flattering image.

Under a picture of the mugshot, Ruiz said: ‘Could have used a better photo. I’m prettier than that, I promise.

Ruiz claimed the force knows he is over 1,500 miles away in Marbella.

He left the country after being released from prison nine months ago after an aggravated burglary charge was dropped just days before he was due to appear in court.

In a post on social media, he said: “They could have just emailed me, instead of posting the worst photo of me all over social media”.

‘I’ve already told them everything I know and I don’t even live in the country anymore.

“I have started a new life in Spain and I make money on social media, through Facebook and YouTube.”
