TARGET customers will soon be able to get thousands of new items at all stores, with most starting at low prices.
The retail giant confirmed the update this month as it creates more of a focus on a certain section of merchandise.

In the New Year, Target is “doubling down on its commitment to wellness,” per a January 9 press release.
That commitment means a whopping 2,000 additional products being brought to several categories within health and fitness.
Over 600 of those products will also be Target exclusives.
Target promised customers that with the expansion also comes affordability in mind, with more than half of the items at price points below $10.
The idea is to help consumers have a budget-friendly way to stay healthy and create individualized wellness routines through Target.
Rick Gomez, Target’s chief commercial officer (CCO) and executive vice president, noted that the company understands there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to customers staying healthy.
“We understand that wellness is deeply personal, and it spans many different aspects of people’s lives, so at Target our approach to wellness reaches into every category of our assortment,” Gomez said in the release.
“Across beauty, personal care, tech, food, beverage, nutrition, and more, we’re adding exciting new products to make it easier for people to find out everything they need at prices that allow them to take care of themselves and their families without having to spend a lot of money.”
VAST VARIETY
The 2,000 new products are split up across at least six categories.
They include functional and non-alcoholic beverages, beauty and health self-care, men’s wellness, nutrition and gut health, wellness tech, and activewear and loungewear.
Customers will also soon see adjustments in the layout of Target stores with the health and wellness shift.
For example, new displays arriving in-store that feature “must-have supplements and hydration, protein, health, sporting good items and more,” per the release.
On Target’s website, there will also be personalized product recommendations for Target Circle members, wellbeing trends, new snack offerings, and even curated deals through January.
There will also be items placed at the front of stores from the 2,000 increase, including Target’s new 80-piece Blogilates apparel collection by Cassey Ho.

COST CONSIDERATION
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Target has offered lower prices on thousands of items.
In October, the retail giant confirmed it would reduce costs on 2,000 products across various categories for the holiday season.
The merchandise included best-selling toys under $20, bath towels, beauty products, board games, cookies, cold medicine, and more.
That also came after 5,000 items were discounted in May 2024 to help shoppers save “millions of dollars.”
Target shoppers also have only days left to take advantage of “last-minute” deals up to 50% off.
The retail giant also confirmed recently that it was ‘trying’ new checkout options after a shopper slammed a limiting policy.
