As soon as Texas football lost to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl Classic, Longhorns superfan Matthew McConaughey was attacked by fans. They constantly fried Texas after an abysmal second half and fourth quarter. But his appearance got a lot of attention, for better or for worse.

Matthew McConaughey’s support for Texas football is real
The support has been there from the very beginning. It reminds of another celebrity, but he is an athlete. LeBron James. Funny enough, he stuck with Texas, because his support for Ohio State is strong. Still, the first season in the SEC proved to be a success for the Longhorns.
