Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes’s third child, newborn daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, has already received that divine blessing of which so many dream: a like from Taylor Swift.
The megastar, who keeps things super quiet on social media most of the time, likes to acknowledge good news with a subtle double tap, a quiet way to show her support. And just a day after the Mahomeses announced Golden’s arrival, we can confirm that their post—a black and white shot of the baby’s foot—hath been SwiftLiked. Cute!
Taylor and Brittany have appeared to be tight since Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, even coming up with a special high-five. There were reports of tension amid Brit’s endorsement of Donald Trump (via an Instagram like—sensing a pattern?), though they still seem to be on good terms, and of course, Swift’s not gonna hold that against an infant. In fact, she’s always been there for her friends’ kids.
When Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their daughter Daisy, Swift sent them a hand-embroidered blanket. She sent another to Gigi Hadid after she gave birth to daughter Khai.
More recently, when fellow Chiefs WAG Chariah Gordon gave birth while Taylor Swift was on tour, the star sent along a gift that Gordon called “so freaking cute and so thoughtful,” in an interview with Glamour.
However, the Auntie Tay has yet to fully Auntie Tay. Travis’ brother Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie are currently expecting their fourth daughter, and we can only imagine the level of Swifttention that baby’s gonna get. Lucky girls!
If the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl again this year, we may get our first look at 2025 TS and Golden at the same time. Would be a helluva debut.
