Will Isaiah Horton hear an Alabama?
The Miami receiver who entered the transfer portal will visit the Crimson Tide starting Thursday night, a source with knowledge of his recruitment told AL.com. After Horton’s visit Alabama footballHe is scheduled to visit Texas A&M then Georgia.
The Crimson Tide sit in a prime spot to land him and get the first shot at landing him with his visit.
Horton played three seasons for Miami, catching 56 passes for 616 yards and five touchdowns this past season.
He is a 6-4, 205-pound receiver from Tennessee.
Alabama is in the market for receiver help. The played host to NC State’s KC Concepcion last week and Mississippi State’s Mario Craver early this week. Craver has since committed to Texas A&M while Concepcion is taking other visits.
The Crimson Tide have had several receivers from their 2024 roster enter the transfer portal since it opened on Dec. 9. That includes Caleb Odom, Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice and Emmanuel Henderson Jr.
Most of the production in the room this year was via Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard. Both are eligible to return in 2025. However, Bernard can also go out for the NFL draft. Either way, Alabama is looking to add another experienced weapon to the room. Horton could be that guy.
