ALL lanes have been closed on a busy Scots road after a horror crash.
The A7 just north of Hawick has been shut down after two cars crashed.
Emergency crews have been deployed to the scene.
Cops have urged drivers to avoid the area while they deal with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A7 is closed north of Hawick following a two-car crash which was reported around 4.35pm on Sunday, 12 January, 2025.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route.”
