Plans for Israel’s revenge strike on Iran ‘LEAKED’ as Tehran told ‘you will pay the price’ for drone attack on PM’s home

SECRET plans showing Israel’s preparation for a potential revenge strike on Iran have been leaked, US officials confirmed.

The intel leak, described as “deeply concerning”, comes amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran as the Middle East stands on the brink of all-out war.

The alleged documents, marked as “top secret”, are said to contain US intelligence analysing Israel’s inevitable retaliation plan against Iran.

Tehran went all out and launched an unprecedented blitz – attacking Israeli territory with some 200 ballistic missiles.

It was believed to be revenge for the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, the chief of Iran’s biggest – and most powerful – terror proxy Hezbollah.

Parts of the leaked document, dated October 15 and 16, reportedly contain satellite imagery appearing to show Israel’s preparation of munitions and military drills.

Others describe the assessment of the Israeli Air Force exercising long-range ballistic and air-to-surface missiles – believed to be planned for a potential strike against Iran.

The documents also suggest Israel was conducting covert surveillance on Iran using advanced drone technology.

The Sun is not directly quoting or showing the information from the leaked documents.

Speaking of the intel leak, senior US officials privately acknowledged the documents were authentic, but suggested they were not a comprehensive assessment of Israel’s full retaliation plan against Iran.

They said the documents only outlined the information US intelligence analysts could gather as of the time of the document.

However, US officials told CNN the leak is “deeply concerning”.

The leaked documents have markings that indicate they are only meant to be seen by the US and its Five Eyes – Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

However, on Friday, parts of the highly sensitive documents began circulating in Telegram after being posted by an account called Middle East Spectator, The Telegraph reports.

The account claims not to have any affiliations to the Iranian regime – and is said to be managed by a bunch of independent journalists who refer to the Israeli government as the “Zionist Regime”

Although the New York Times reported that the documents have been discussed largely by pro-Iranian groups.

NETANYAHU’S REVENGE

Israel is now expected to launch a retaliatory strike after Iran attacked the country with almost 200 ballistic missiles targeting the civilian population.

Live footage from Israel showed hundreds of ballistic missiles being shot down by Israeli air defences over Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Air raid sirens blared across the country as innocent Israelis scrambled to take cover in their homes, under bridges, and in bomb shelters.

Deafening explosions have also been heard in the Jordan Valley, which sits on the border between Jordan and the West Bank.

Early warning systems detected the launches and skies above Israel began lighting up within minutes.

Red tracers from the Iron Dome and David’s Sling interceptions were seen blasting the incoming missiles while sending white flaming debris crashing earthwards.

The IDF said at least 10 million civilians were the targets of the unprecedented night blitz.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be more ready than ever to launch strikes after his seaside residence was attacked yesterday by Hezbollah drones in a brazen assassination attempt.

It is understood that three drones entered Israeli airspace today after eluding the air defences.

Two of them were shot down after the breach.

But one managed to hit a building in Caesarea – extremely close to Netanyahu’s vacation home.

Netanyahu, 74 and his wife Sara, 65, were unharmed.

Military commanders believe he was targeted by a revenge strike after his forces killed both Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, followed by Hamas kingpin Yahya Sinwar on Wednesday.

Netanyahu has since alleged that the drone strike was part of an assassination attempt plotted by Iran, vowing Tehran would “pay a price” for a drone attack.

Iranian officials meanwhile tried to downplay the situation but confirmed the drones were indeed launched by Hezbollah.

Although Tehran denied any involvement in the drone strike that appeared to “eliminate Netanyahu”.

Iran has also vowed to respond to any Israeli attack – saying it has “no red lines”.

LATEST IN THE MIDDLE EAST WAR

Hezbollah fired a salvo of more than 100 rockets into Israel, killing at least one person and injuring others in the northern region of the country.

Footage shared by the IDF shows a building destroyed by the rocket attack that was launched from Lebanon targeting innocent Israeli people.

Posting the clip on X/Twitter, the IDF said: “Hezbollah fires rockets indiscriminately, and this is the result.”

Israel launched its ground operation in Lebanon earlier this month to weaken Hezbollah and push the terror group away from the border to allow displaced Israelis to return.

In response, IDF struck multiple targets inside Lebanon which they claim are Hezbollah strongholds.

Some of the buildings struck were Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters and an underground weapons workshop in Beirut< Israel claims.

The Israeli military also issued fresh evacuation warnings for civilians staying in Beirut’s southern suburb.

IDF Col. Avichay Adraee said: “You are in the vicinity of Hezbollah facilities, which the IDF will operate against in the near future.”

Israel is now at war with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon – both Iran-backed militant groups.

The IDF have been striking parts of northern Gaza, claiming they are aiming to wipe out Hamas brutes.

But the strikes have also killed scores of Palestinians who were present in the densely populated area.

More than 42,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war so far, according to Gaza-run health centres.

The figure also includes Hamas terrorists.

His body was found in the courtyard of his tenth-floor flat by an SVR employee linked to a former Russian spymaster.

Initial reports in Moscow media outlets said that he had been suffering from “a severe form of cancer”.

But these reports were denied by his close friends and relatives.

His relatives insisted there were no signs that he was suicidal and he was in a “good mood” shortly before his death.

He now joins the string of unexplained deaths of leading Russian figures under mysterious circumstances.

A prominent female judge was found dead after falling from a Moscow high-rise building.

Natalia Larina, 50, was notorious for handling high-profile political and criminal cases, punishing traitors of the Kremlin.

She had been a criminal judge for more than 15 years – and had a reputation for ruling verdicts on cases against opposition political activists.

In December 2023, Vladimir Egorov, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, plunged to his death from a third-floor window in Moscow.

The 46-year-old Egorov was a wealthy and prominent politician in oil-rich Tobolsk in western Siberia.

Just weeks prior, the deputy editor of Putin’s favourite propaganda newspaper was found dead aged only 35.

The body of Anna Tsareva, 35, was discovered at her home in the capital’s Bolshoy Tishinsky Lane – nearly a year after the death of her boss Vladimir Sungorkin, 68.

In February the same year, top Russian defence official and key figure in the funding of Putin’s illegal war in Ukraine Marina Yankina, 58, also fell 160ft to her death in St Petersburg.

She was head of the financial support department of the Ministry of Defence for the Western Military District, which is closely involved in the dictator’s invasion.

Earlier this year, the chief editor of the warmonger’s state-run TV empire was also discovered lifeless after a suspected poisoning.

Zoya Konovalova, 48, who ran a channel operating near the frontlines of Mad Vlad’s illegal war, was found alongside her ex-husband.
