Dawkins, 30, missed the Bills‘ practice on Thursday after a small plane crashed in his backyard.
Police from the NFL star’s area said the plane went down at around 11:22 am Eastern after it appeared to experience mechanical issues.
Law enforcement added that the plane was engulfed in flames after it hit the ground just feet away from Dawkins’ house.
Officials stated that the plane was headed to New York from Michigan and the pilot lost his life.
Luckily, neither Dawkins nor anyone else in the area of the scene of the scene was injured, the authorities added, and that the Dawkins family is safe.
Dawkins’ fiancee is registered nurse Daiyaana Muhammad.
The couple share three children.
The National Transportation Safety Board revealed in a statement that they have launched an investigation to find more information on the matter.
Dawkins was excused from the Bills practice to deal with the situation.
He ended up working his way to the Bills’ training facility on Thursday afternoon and spoke to reporters about the tragedy.
“I just hope the pilot’s family is okay,” Dawkins said, per Syracuse.com’s Matt Parrino.
“And I’m glad that my family is perfectly fined.”
He would eventually rejoin his teammates during Thursday’s practice.
Dawkins has played all eight seasons of his NFL career in Buffalo.
The 30-year-old is a left tackle and has protected star quarterback Josh Allen since 2019.
Dawkins and the team’s offensive line has helped Allen become the league’s MVP favorite.
The Bills are 11-3 and are coming off an impressive 48-42 victory over the 12-2 Detroit Lions.
Dawkins’ status for Sunday’s game versus the visiting New England Patriots has not been changed.

AN actress from Scarface looks unrecognisable 41 years after starring in the gangster flick.
Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, 66, played the role of Tony Montana’s sister in the cult classic gangster movie Scarface.
Mary played the role of Gina in the 80s flick Scarface[/caption]
Mary looks very different these days[/caption]
The starlet looked so different with her signature curly locks slicked back in 2019[/caption]
The film, which came out in 1983 and grossed $66 million at the box office, centres around Tony Montana and his close friend Manny.
In the flick, the pair build a strong drug empire in Miami, but as Tony’s power begins to grow, so does his ego and his enemies, and his own paranoia begins to plague his empire.
Mary played the role of Tony’s sister in the flick, with her looking worlds away from her role 41 years on from it hitting cinema screens around the globe.
Mary is an American actress and singer who made her Broadway debut in the 1980 revival of West Side Story.
The brunette beauty, who is now 66 years of age, then went on to appear in Scarface alongside Al Pacino.
Mary played the role of young Cuban American woman Gina Montana, with the film stint and her starring role proving to be her breakout role.
After starring in Scarface, Mary went on to appear in several other movies – with her also sticking to her roots on stage, too.
Mary nabbed an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Carmen in the 1986 flick The Color of Money, with her also starring in the 1989 movie The Abyss.
She then starred in Robin Hood: Price of Thieves in 1991, before landing a role in the 2000 flick The Perfect Storm.
GLOWING CAREER
Meanwhile, on stage, Mary earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in the musical Man of La Mancha in 2003.
More recently, it was revealed that Mary would star in Law & Order: Organized Crime’s upcoming fifth season.
Back in September, Mary was announced to be joining Law and Order’s Organized Crime series.
The hit series follows the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau as they take on New York City’s most vicious and violent criminal syndicates.
UNRECOGNISABLE IN RECENT PUBLIC OUTINGS
Mary’s last public appearance at an event was on November 4, 2019, when Mary attended Songs For Syria at WP Theater in New York City.
Wearing a black pantsuit with a black top, Mary looked incredibly chic.
The actress finished off her chic look with several necklaces, a pair of thin-framed glasses, some black shoes, and a brooch.
Mary wore her hair slicked back into an updo, and she smiled sweetly on the red carpet before heading inside the event.
Before her 2019 appearance, Mary was seen four years prior in 2015, with the actress attending another event and posing before heading inside.
For her 2015 public appearance, Mary looked great as she wore her signature curly locks down and relaxed.
Mary doesn’t appear to be on social media, but last month an Instagram fan page wished her a happy birthday for her 66th birthday on November 17.
Commenting on the post, one person said: “Happy Birthday, Mary Elizabeth.”
While another simply commented with a heart-eye emoji.

BELOVED television news anchor Mark Spain has died following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Spain died on December 18, his family announced on Facebook.
Beloved WTLV news anchor Mark Spain died on Wednesday[/caption]
“It’s surreal that it was exactly three weeks ago yesterday that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer,” Spain’s family said in a statement shared on Facebook.
“Our family was there with him from the beginning of the fight to the finish, until his very last breath! He fought hard, he stayed positive throughout the battle, and wasn’t afraid.
“We have comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering, it was not easy watching him fight for his life and battle this disease, but he was not alone, and neither were we.”
Spain was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer around Thanksgiving.
A GoFundMe created just days before his death has raised $13,000.
Those funds were said to go toward Spain’s medical bills, travel for treatment, and other needs.
Spain’s career began in Cleveland where he worked as a paperboy from the time he was nine years old.
After studying communications in college, he went on to work at several notable television stations, in Fort Wayne, Erie, Indianapolis and Cleveland.
Then, in 2000, he landed at First Coast News in Jacksonville, Florida.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. He always worked to better the First Coast in every story he produced,” First Coast News General Manager Tim Thomas said.
“Our thoughts are with his wife Lynita and his three children during this difficult time.”
In 2015, Spain moved to local ABC affiliate WSET in Lynchburg, Virginia.
There, he was a respected anchor on the network’s evening and late shows.
He shared the news of his cancer diagnosis with viewers just weeks ago in early December.
“Our family along with the city of Lynchburg lost a man of hope, someone who loves his city and stood for equality, treating others with respect and kindness,” the Spain family’s statement continued.
“He was a husband, father, brother, friend, and a positive light in the community. My first true love.
“He brought so much joy, compassion, love, and strength into our lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.”
Viewers and colleagues flooded social media with tributes to the late anchor.
“Our hearts are broken,” was all fellow WSET anchor Danner Evans wrote on X.
“I am so sorry. Praying for your entire family. I feel so grateful to have known him and worked with him. He’s made such an impact on so many people,” a fellow journalist commented on the Spain family’s Facebook post.
“Have been in tears since learning the news this morning. Mark was one of a kind. His positivity and willingness to help others is unmatched. I feel so lucky to have had a role model and mentor in him starting in this business. Praying for strength for your family at a time filled with so much heartbreak,” someone else wrote.
“I extend my deepest condolences to Mark’s family, TV family and loved ones. May his memory and legacy always be a blessing,” another journalist shared.

6 days agoUSA UpdateComments Off on Elon Musk may find sending Nigel Farage into Downing Street easier than landing a man on Mars
GAME-changers don’t come along very often in politics.
Brexit was one, and so is Donald Trump — both times he’s won the US presidency.
And now the man who helped Trump to his second victory wants to deliver an even bigger game-changer to Britain’s electoral map.
Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is on a mission.
He doesn’t just want to send rockets to Mars, he wants to put rocket boosters up the British political establishment too.
This week, the Space X, Tesla and X owner met with Reform UK chief Nigel Farage and the party’s new treasurer, Nick Candy, at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, prompting feverish speculation that the tech billionaire is about to funnel millions of dollars into Reform.
While talk of a $100million donation was denied, Farage declared that Musk was indeed “fully, fully behind us”, while Musk has openly expressed his desire for Reform to win the next General Election here and oust Keir Starmer from office.
‘A political revolution’
That is certainly a tall order.
Reform UK have just five MPs right now, despite winning more than four million votes in July’s election and 14.3 per cent of the vote share, thanks to Britain’s first-past-the-post electoral system.
To win office with an outright majority, Farage would need to gain more than 326 seats. On the face of it, he has as much chance of being the next PM as Carla Denyer, co-leader of the Green Party.
But things may not be quite as predictable as so many Westminster watchers like to think.
As Farage told the recent Spectator Parliamentarian of the Year awards: “We are about to witness a political revolution the likes of which we have not seen since Labour after the First World War.
“Politics is about to change in the most astonishing way. Newcomers will win the next election.”
So could he be right and all the experts wrong? Very possibly, yes.
Consider for a moment the track record of those experts. Remember in 2010 when the hung parliament resulted in the Tory-Lib Dem coalition government and, we were told, the end of the two-party system?
And remember in 2015 when we saw the return of the two-party system and a Tory majority?
And what about 2016 and the vote for Brexit and the first Trump victory? Neither of these seismically shocking events had been forecast by the oh-so-clever Westminster commentariat.
Yet they were still confident enough in their own Mystic Meg abilities to insist in 2019 that Boris Johnson had guaranteed himself two terms in office with his 80-strong majority to get Brexit done, while the Labour Party were apparently finished for a generation.
And yet again in July, when we were told the Tories had no chance of winning back power in 2029 after Starmer won his landslide 170-seat majority.
I’m not sure I’d trust those experts to predict the winner in a one-horse race, let alone a contest in which one of the runners and riders is being backed by the richest man in the world.
Politics is about to change in the most astonishing way. Newcomers will win the next election
There is no doubt at all that a big lump sum from Musk would make a massive difference to Reform’s electoral chances, providing funding for staff and offices, for national campaigns, billboards and targeted online messaging.
But the tech titan doesn’t just have money to offer. He also has campaigning expertise to offer Farage and his deputy Richard Tice after playing a key role for the Republicans in swing states in the latest US election.
Musk and Farage also have a lot in common. Both men are disruptors who enjoy shaking things up and ruffling feathers.
The political landscape has never been more fertile for a third party to grow and blossom.
Key battleground issues such as mass immigration, Net Zero targets, criminal justice and the culture wars are ripe for the taking by Reform after years of failure by the Tories and a shockingly poor record for Labour’s first five months in office.
Just as voters across Europe have turned to new parties to do their bidding after years of being ignored by the mainstream groups, exasperated voters here are increasingly turning away from the established big players.
Indeed a poll this week already suggests a three-way battle for power at the next election — and that’s before Musk has spent a dime.
The Prime Minister might be tempted to think that the rise of Reform and a divided right wing can only help Labour to retain power.
British politics has irrevocably changed and no one is sure what the rules are any more
Irrevocably changed
But Keir Starmer would be unwise to rest on his already bedraggled laurels when Reform poses a potential threat in so many Labour heartlands.
Both Labour and the Tories might also think Reform could not possibly boost their electoral chances in just a few short years.
But why not? The SNP went from just six out of 59 Westminster seats in Scotland in 2010 to 56 seats in 2015.
While they may pretend to be relaxed about Musk backing Reform, it’s no wonder the Tories are now desperately trying to woo him themselves, while Labour are busy urging the Electoral Commission to change the rules on foreign donations so that Musk would no longer be legally able to donate through his UK-registered companies.
A Reform victory in 2029 may not be the most likely of all possible outcomes but, for Elon Musk, propelling his man into 10 Downing Street may be an easier challenge than his day job of trying to send a manned mission to Mars.
Whatever the experts might think, British politics has irrevocably changed and no one is sure what the rules are any more.
Anything and everything is possible — and the next election is all to play for.

1000-LB. Sisters star Amy Slaton has accepted a plea deal and dodged jail time after she was arrested for drug possession at a Tennessee zoo.
Amy, 37, was arrested on September 2 and charged with illegal possession of schedule I drugs, illegal possession of schedule IV drugs and two counts of child abuse/neglect/endangerment.
Amy accepted a plea deal in the case[/caption]
Crockett County Court in Tennessee exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Amy, 37, entered a guilty plea for two counts of simple possession.
As part of the plea deal, Amy received a suspended jail sentence of 11 months and 29 days.
During her 11-month and 29-day supervised probation, Amy is to complete an alcohol and drug assessment, complete parenting classes and have no contact with the safari park where she was arrested for the duration of her probation.
She has also been ordered to pay a $500 fine and court costs.
The child endangerment counts have been dismissed.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star was booked into Crockett County Jail in Tennessee on Monday, September 2.
The TLC star spent her Labor Day at Tennessee Safari Park with her friend Brian Lovvorn and two small children.
The drive-through park allows people to feed the zoo animals from their cars.
A staffer at the zoo called 911, claiming Amy had been bitten by a camel and was bleeding.
Police arrived on the scene, where Amy said she was bit and was taken away on a stretcher.
Authorities were immediately met with an overwhelming odor from Amy and Brian’s car.
They discovered marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms inside the vehicle.
Amy and Brian were each arrested and charged with drug possession and child endangerment.
They were booked into Crockett County Jail and were released soon after on a $10,000 bond each.
Tennessee Safari Park co-owner Claude Conley refuted the claims that Amy had ever been bit.
REFUTING THE CLAIMS
Despite Amy leaving the zoo on a stretcher, Tennessee Safari Park co-owner Claude Conley denied the claims that she had been bitten by one of their animals.
“We dispute that Amy was bitten by a camel because there is no bruising,” Claude told The U.S. Sun.
“She cut her arm on something, it’s not consistent with an animal bite.”

ANNA Duggar carries around “a lot of tension” three years after her disgraced husband Josh’s arrest on child pornography charges.
The mother of seven, 36, also appears to “just want to protect herself” from public scrutiny in the aftermath of her family’s horrific scandal, body language expert Patti Wood told The U.S. Sun in an exclusive interview.
Anna Duggar picked up her children from a community event in Arkansas on December 10[/caption]
Anna, walking out of the community center, carries ‘tension’ in her body, Patti Wood claimed[/caption]
Anna is acting as a single mom to her seven kids during her husband Josh’s incarceration[/caption]
“Transforming herself through her clothing choices is a way to create protection,” Patti said. “She does not want to be judged or evaluated.”
On the December 10 outing, Anna covered her hands with her extra-long sleeves- a sign she is “carrying tension” and “has a desire to protect herself,” Patti added.
Anna’s body language did not match the happy nature of the event, the expert further explained.

Two days later on December 12, Anna met up with friends at another event[/caption]
NIGHTMARE MARRIAGE
In recent years, Anna has weathered Josh’s horrific behavior and the serious consequences of his decisions.
In news that shocked the Christian reality TV family’s fans, Josh was arrested and charged with possessing and receiving child pornography in April 2021.
The Duggar clan’s long-running reality show, Counting On, was abruptly canceled due to the unspeakable nature of the charges.
He was found guilty after a trial in December of that year, and sentenced to over 12 years in prison in 2022.
That June, he was transferred to FCI Seagoville prison, where he remains today.
He was once a rising conservative lobbyist in Washington, D.C. before his career came crashing down in 2015- when he was discovered to be using cheating site Ashley Madison.
He then admitted to cheating on Anna, and harboring a secret pornography addiction.
Josh then checked into a Christian rehab center.
He later worked as a used car salesman until his shocking arrest.
STANDING BY HER MAN
Anna has always maintained her husband’s innocence, and even regularly visits him in prison with her kids.
“We’ve seen Anna at visitation fairly regularly. I’ve spoken to Anna a couple of times,” a fellow inmate told The U.S. Sun.
“Normally the only thing I’ve seen is Anna and then their kids, I don’t really know anybody else.”
While Josh’s siblings, including sisters Jill and Jinger, have spoken out against Josh’s crimes, Anna has only gushed over him.
“Joshua has worked hard to provide for me and our (now) seven children,” she wrote in a letter to an Arkansas judge begging for leniency before sentencing.
“But the happiest part of the day by far is when Daddy comes home from work, and his cheerful voice fills the house, ‘Hey, guys! How’s it going? What did you learn about in school today?’ are usually the conversation starters in between greeting each of our children.
“Joshua is an engaged dad who gladly throws a football with his sons, listens to our daughters play a new song they have learned on the piano, helps answer homework questions, or lends a hand sweeping up spilled crackers.”
As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Anna now quietly makes ends meet through her dog breeding company, Golden Grove Pups, LLC.
She lives in her humble home with her kids: Mackynzie, 15, Michael, 13, Marcus, 11, Meredith, 9, Mason, 7, Maryella, 5, and Madyson, 3.
