“Our primary mission is to remain in the National League South, and the board will support Warren in every possible way to achieve this goal.

He’s now preparing for a serious operation after his condition failed to improve.

Today former EastEnders star Maisie, 23, shared a sweet snap of her visiting her man in hospital, but The Sun can reveal she’s feeling torn due to her busy schedule.

Maisie is currently starring in a pantomime production of Beauty and the Beast at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury meaning she can’t be at Max’s side all the time.

An insider said: “It’s been a really worrying and distressing time for Max and Maisie.

“All she wants to do is be by his bedside day and night but she’s committed to her panto show and doesn’t want to let anyone down.

“She’s done her best to be able to visit him when hospital visiting hours allow, but it’s been a real struggle juggling everything.

“Max is on her mind 24/7 and she wants more than anything for him to be better as soon as possible.”

Max was admitted to hospital last week with heart issues and has been undergoing tests as doctors investigate what’s wrong.

In a recent post, he explained that a CT scan showed concerning results.

He said: “Had a little day trip today. Full cat scan on my heart. Not something I’d choose to do again!”

Max went on to share that he has been diagnosed with a 2:1 heart block, a condition where the heart’s electrical signals are disrupted.

He added his heart rate has remained stubbornly low for almost a week.

“Unfortunately my heart rate hasn’t picked up at all in almost a week,” he wrote.

“Because of this, we don’t have too much time to wait, so it looks like I’m going to be in surgery way quicker than the doctors first thought. I may even be home for Christmas!”

The 39 Premier League players just one yellow card away from getting Christmas off including three Liverpool stars

NEARLY 40 Premier League stars are one yellow card away from getting Christmas off.

But with one week to go, there are 39 players just a booking away from a festive suspension, as pointed out by The Football Card Tipster.

Manchester United have Harry Maguire on the list while so too is City’s Bernardo Silva.

Liverpool have THREE facing a ban; Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konate and Ryan Gravenberch.

Other notable names include Leicester’s Jamie Vardy, Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali and Chelsea pair Robert Sanchez and Nicolas Jackson.

Jackson – who has nine goals this season – was last season warned about his discipline by ex-manager Mauricio Pochettino.

But Poch’s successor Enzo Maresca recently hailed the striker’s attitude after scoring the winner against Brentford.

Maresca said: “Not only Nico, players miss chances and they score a goal. Important is the attitude.

“Nico was unbelievable on and off the ball. He worked really hard and we’re very happy with him.”

Liverpool’s Nunez meanwhile has only two league goals this season.

But he scored the against Southampton to send the Reds into the Carabao Cup semi-final.

Down the other end of the table, Wolves have Toti Gomes and Mario Lemina close to the suspensions as they sit second bottom.

Rock-bottom Southampton also have three on the borderline, Adam Armstrong, Mateus Fernandes and Adam Lallana.

The 15 most beautiful McDonald’s in the world that you need to visit from former banks to UNESCO sites

WHILE IT may be somewhere you tend to pop to for a quick lunch or dinner on the road, some McDonald’s are worth lingering at.

There are several outposts of the iconic fast food restaurant that are so beautiful they could be considered landmarks in their own right.

Some McDonald’s around the world certainly make a happy meal with their design[/caption]

From a Norwegian bank to an Australian cinema, many of the global chain’s franchises around the world serve up plenty of cool history alongside their famously swift menu.

Make sure to stop off at these if you’re ever in town…

Bray, Ireland

One of the most striking McDonald’s on the planet can be found in the Irish town of Bray in County Wicklow.

It is housed in the old town hall, which happens to have a very eye-catching design.

There are wooden beams hanging from the ceiling, Tudor-style windows and an arched entrance.

Elsewhere in Bray, a coastal spot, you can head to the scenic beach – perhaps with a McFlurry in hand on a good day.

Budapest, Hungary

Tucked away in Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest, Hungary is a truly stunning McDonald’s.

It is housed in a building dating back to 1877, that was designed by Austrian architect August de Serres, who went on to help build the Eiffel Tower.

The space opened as a McDonald’s in 1990, and temporarily closed for a matter of months this year for renovation.

Its original features – including antique lamps and painted stucco ceilings – have been restored.

Porto, Portugal

For a McDonald’s with a palatial vibe, head to the cute city in the north of Portugal.

It is housed in a former historic coffee shop, with grand architecture – including ornate ceilings, glitzy chandeliers and marble floors.

It looks just as incredible from the outside, with stained glass windows and an eagle sculpture over the entrance.

Since it was opened by the fast food chain in 1995, it has become as much a point of interest in the city as the Livraria Lello bookshop and port wine.

Madrid, Spain

The McDonald’s on the city’s Gran Via is located in a grand cream-coloured corner building.

It was the fast food empire’s first ever Spanish outpost, with its doors being opened in 1981.

The Madrid location was formerly a jewellery shop, which perhaps explains its stunning interiors.

Some of its original features include a winding staircase, as well as marble pillars and statement chandeliers.

Batumi, Georgia

The McDonald’s in the coastal city of Batumi, on the Black Sea, stands as one of the chain’s most breathtaking.

It has a sleek, modern structure with curvaceous glass walls, and its contemporary design contrasts with the surrounding natural landscape.

The space, which has a pool along its edges, was designed by architect Giorgi Khmaladze.

In 2014, the polyhedronal structure was bequeathed the Best Commercial Building Award by the architecture website ArchDaily.

Hangzhou, China

The doors to the McDonald’s in the eastern part of China opened in 2015.

It is in a building previously home to a former Taiwan leader, Chiang Ching-kuo, who lived there in the 1940s.

The exterior remains largely unchanged since then, but the interior is now decorated with posters about Chiang’s life.

It is worth noting that it is a McCafe rather than a full restaurant, due to local restrictions about historic buildings.

Kristiansand, Norway

It would be easy to think you’re stepping into a rather important institution when heading to McDonald’s in Kristiansand.

Indeed, the chain’s restaurant in the Norwegian city was formerly the home of a bank.

The restaurant’s iconic letters are now positioned above the original grand columns.

However, the majestic entrance is no longer in use, with guests needing to go in via a side door.

Sydney, Australia

Unexpected interiors await at the McDonald’s branch on Sydney‘s George Street.

Built in 1930, it was 2,000-seat cinema called the Plaza Theatre before the American chain took over in 1977.

The outside of the Australian restaurant is rather nondescript, but the inside is quite magical.

There is ornate stonework and elegant chandeliers that make quite the backdrop to your Big Mac.

Paris, France

There aren’t many fast-food restaurants that can claim to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

However, the quaint McDonald’s in Paris on the Rue Saint-Lazare, built in 1892, is just that.

It has a half-timbered brick facade – as an example of Alsatian architecture.

There is also a sculpture half-way up the front of Gambrinus, a European legend known as the ‘King of Beer’.

Barcelona, Spain

This McDonald’s, on the street Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, is in a truly beautiful building.

At the entrance to the restaurant, close to the Spanish city’s main sites – including the Sagrada Família – are grand marble columns.

However, it’s what’s on the menu that also draws more crowds than usual.

You can buy beer – including Mahou and Estrella – as well as Spanish omlette and macarons.

Belem, Portugal

Those visiting Lisbon‘s Belem district – the birthplace of pastéis de nata – can’t help but notice the McDonald’s.

It looks like a typical Portuguese home, with its pretty pastel pink exterior.

There are also wrought-iron Juliet balconies, filled with flowers and plants.

Situated along from the Belem Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, it has become a tourist spot in its own right.

Rotterdam, Netherlands

The McDonald’s in the Dutch city was specially designed by the firm Mei Architects.

While the chain had been located on the site for 45 years, it enjoyed a revamp that was unveiled in 2015.

The two-storey building has a steel spiral staircase which can be seen through glass windows from outside.

Additionally, the facade is lad in panels of gold aluminium that form a pixellated image depicting a crowd of people.

Roswell, New Mexico

In 1947, a UFO is believed to have mysteriously crashed into fields on the outskirts of the city of Roswell.

Aliens have continued to be associated with the city in New Mexico, United States, ever since.

Fittingly, McDonald’s paid homage by opening a spaceship-shaped restaurant there in 2005.

With angular corners and neon lights, it really is something out of this world.

Melbourne, Australia

Those with a penchant for art deco design will be in for a treat at a Melbourne branch of McDonald’s.

It is set in the Australian city’s former United Kingdom Hotel, designed by architect James Hastie in the late 1930s.

The two-storey red-brick building features rounded balconies and thin metal railings on the outside.

Inside, there’s a retro dining room that will transport you back in time.

Downey, California

One of the most aesthetically impressive McDonald’s of all has to be the oldest still in operation.

The restaurant, in California city of Downey, is the fast food chain’s very first branch.

It was opened in 1940 by the McDonald brothers, Richard and Maurice, who went on to create their lucrative empire.

The original design has been retained, including its famous ‘golden arches’.

Should I confess to my long-term partner that I’ve slept with another woman?

Couple lying in bed, turned away from each other.
Relationship trouble. Couple in bed facing away from each other.

DEAR DEIDRE: ALTHOUGH I’ve never been the unfaithful type, I recently cheated on my long-term partner.

Should I be honest about my infidelity? All her previous partners cheated on her, so I know the truth will break her heart.

The last time we had sex was awful. I lost my erection halfway through because she just wasn’t turning me on.

I blamed it on being tired.

I’m 38 and she’s 35. We’ve been together for two years.

Our relationship was wonderful at the start, and I really thought we were in it for the long haul.

But over the past six months, our sex life has grown stale. We used to do it almost every day, and it was passionate and exciting.

Recently, though, it’s been happening less and less frequently, and it’s felt like I’ve been going through the motions.

The connection we shared seems to have disappeared.

Last weekend, I went to a work do, and one of my female colleagues started flirting.

I’ve always found her attractive, but never dreamt I’d cheat.

But we ended up kissing and going back to her house, and the sex was amazing.

I felt the connection that’s been missing with my partner.

I can’t see things getting better with my partner, even though I do love her. And my colleague and I want to start seeing each other.

Should I confess I’ve slept with another woman or lie and hope she doesn’t find out?

Which would hurt less?

DEIDRE'S STORIES

DEIDRE SAYS: I wonder if your desire to be honest is more about easing your conscience than your partner’s feelings.

The most useful conversation is the one that addresses the issues in your sex life and relationship.

But now the damage is done. Telling her you cheated will hurt her deeply – particularly given her relationship history.

Not telling her means you’ll be embarking on a full-blown affair and, if she finds out – which is almost inevitable – she’ll be devastated.

There’s no way for you to come out of this smelling of roses, or painlessly.

Either you need to stop your affair and work on your relationship, or keep on a path that leads towards someone getting hurt.

Read my support pack, Looking After Your Relationship to improve your communication and a different one, Cheating, Can You Get Over It? may help if you do tell her.

Or think about ending your relationship now, ideally leaving a gap before you embark on your next one.

I’m 53 but binned three items from my wardrobe to look 10 years younger – the jean mistake is ultra ageing

YOU can fork out for expensive skincare and treatments to shave years off your appearance, but these three clothing items may still be ageing you.

A 53-year-old woman revealed the style buys she recommends removing from your wardrobe to look younger.

TikTok user Tamsen Fadal shared the three items to remove from your wardrobe to look younger[/caption]

In her viral video, TikTok user Tamsen Fadal (@tamsenfadal) talked her followers through the fashion faux pas that are making you look older.

She explained that her tips helped to make her look 10 years younger than she is.

While she pointed out that you should wear whatever you want, Tamsen highlighted the potential problem areas in your wardrobe.

For her first recommendation, the TikToker explained her issue with “oversized prints.”

She explained that opting for smaller prints “can help take 10 years off your age.”

Tasmsen suggested looking for items with this type of pattern in secondhand shops and on sales racks so as not to “break the bank” while revamping your wardrobe.

Next, she suggested going through all your pairs of jeans and getting rid of anything that looks “dated.”

“We all have that pair of jeans that’s 10 or 20 years old that we’re still hanging on to because we’re still going to get into them, well get rid of them, no mom jeans, no weird crops,” she advised.

The TikToker suggested taking yourself on a shopping date and “trying on as many jeans as you can until you find ones that flatter your shape and that you feel good about.”

She highlighted the importance of wearing jeans that you “don’t have to adjust too much” and that you “feel comfortable in.”

She told her followers that each of them “deserve great-looking jeans.”

For her final no-go item, Tamsen recommended getting rid of anything that makes you look “boxy.”

“Great style is about great proportions and you deserve clothes that create a flattering shape and highlight your bet proportions,” she said.

The expert suggested investing in clothes that make your waist look smaller while highlighting your hips and bust.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on the advice in the comments section.

Three hair mistakes that are making you look older

THERE are some hair mistakes to avoid if you don't want to make yourself look older than you actually are:

  • One dimensional hair colour – it’s a good idea to visit a hairdresser to get your colour done. Using a box dye can leave you with one block colour, so steer clear.
  • Hair that’s too dark around the hairline – “Add softer, lighter tones and shades around the sides of the face to bring lift and life to your eyes; too dark a colour will do the opposite and feel very gaunt and dreary,” Jack Howard, UK colour spokesperson for L’Oreal, said.
  • Sticking to the hair colour of your youth – While you might have looked good with jet black hair in your 20s, the same may not be said now you’re in your 50s. The general rule is that your hair colour should lighten with age, just as your skin tone does.

“Just got rid of jeans and boxy shirts before I saw this, look at me, a trendsetter,” wrote one viewer.

“I don’t really feel like I have much style but I agree with all of those, especially the oversized prints,” said another follower.

“I agree totally. I got of nearly all prints for additional reasons – not appropriate at funerals, maybe not weddings either. Also re-inventing myself,” commented a third person.

“With my seasonal clothing rotation, I dump unworn clothes from my closet every spring and every autumn,” shared another TikTok user.

“Thank you! I’ve been holding on to clothes that I think might fit later for years,” said one viewer.

I was so happy to reconnect with my first love, but now she’s ghosted me

Stressed man sits on the floor looking at his phone.
Stressed out middle aged man sitting on the floor of his home, holding a mobile phone

DEAR DEIDRE: AFTER more than 20 years since we separated, I was so happy when I reconnected with my first love.

In my mind, she was always the one that got away, so it felt like a dream having her back in my life.

Yet now, after months of rebuilding our connection, I fear I’ve ruined our second chance, and she’ll never talk to me again.

I’m 54, she’s 49, and we were together for five years before we broke up.

Even when we both got married and had kids, a part of me always found myself wondering what could have been.

I couldn’t believe my luck when we bumped into each other in the supermarket three months ago.

It was as if no time had passed at all.

Since then we’ve spent almost every day texting and chatting over the phone, and we’ve grown close.

I was so chuffed to have her back in my life, even if it was only over the phone.

Then everything went wrong when she ignored me for over a week, and I made the mistake of telling her how much that hurt.

I expected her to apologise and that we’d move on, instead she blasted me saying our friendship had been a mistake and blocked me.

Now I’m feeling so confused. What did I do so wrong?

DEIDRE'S STORIES

Louise can't help herself from going back to Pete

DEIDRE SAYS: As hard as it may be, it’s best that you accept what has happened and try to move on.

While it can be hard to find closure in the ambiguity, try to take this as a blessing in disguise.

Ultimately, you’re both married and have your own families to think about, so nothing can happen between you in any case.

While it’s understandable you were enjoying your friendship and the feeling of nostalgia, it would be better for you to put your energies into your own relationship and leave the past in the past.
