Fenerbahce vs Man Utd preview

Can Manchester United achieve back-to-back victories?

After five winless matches, the Red Devils finally registered a victory by beating Brentford at Old Trafford.

United trailed at the break thanks to Ethan Pinnock’s controversial opener but Alejandro Garnacho ended the club’s 316-minute Premier League goal drought before Rasmus Hojlund eventually scored the winner.

Three points marginally eased pressure on manager Erik ten Hag, whose side moved up to 12th position with 11 points from a possible 24 after eight league fixtures.

More improvements will be needed this week with the Red Devils having won just one of their last 10 matches in major European competition.

But a trip to face Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce and former manager Jose Mourinho won’t be the most straightforward of assignments.

United have lost both of their last two trips to face Fenerbahce in all competitions, losing 0-3 in December 2004 and 1-2 in November 2016.

Fenerbahce have taken four points from their first two Europa League games, beating Union SG before drawing 1-1 with Dutch opponents FC Twente.

They are also unbeaten in their last seven home games in the Europa League, winning four of their last five.

Dusan involvement

Dusan Tadic has been in excellent form of late. The former Southampton and Ajax playmaker has scored six goals and provided seven assists in 14 appearances this season – including four goal involvement in European competition.

He’s netted in each of his last three and could make his presence felt against a Manchester United side who’ve shipped four goals in two Europa League matches.

Booked

Guess who’s back? Manchester United will be extremely familiar with Fenerbahce’s midfield duo of Sofyan Amrabat and Fred.

The battling midfield duo should be right in the thick of the action at what will no doubt be a hostile Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Thursday night.

Fred has never been one to ship a tackle, and United supporters will know that well given his 42 cards in 213 appearances for them. He’s averaging a card every two matches for Fenerbahce this season (five in 10 games in all competitions).

  • Fred to be carded with William Hill – CLAIM HERE

Car giant selling off massive test track that it’s owned for 17 years as company fights to save its failing business

A CAR giant is selling off a massive test track located in the middle of the desert – as it fights to save its struggling business.

Automaker Stellantis, one of the world’s biggest maker of cars and owner of brands such as Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep, as well as European marques like Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Opel, has seen earnings and sales dip within the last year.

One of the many marques it owns is US household name Chrysler[/caption]

The trans-Atlantic company is desperate to cut costs, and it seems one of their options is to sell its enormous Arizona Proving Ground.

Located around 100 miles south of Las Vegas, the massive facility was first owned by Ford back in 1955, before it was purchased by Chrysler in 2007.

Chrysler then became part of Stellantis in 2021 when Fiat Chrysler Automobiles merged with Groupe PSA.

But now, they’re ready to offload the testing track, with CNBC reporting a statement written by the company, which said: “Stellantis continues to look for opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize its footprint to ensure future competitiveness in today’s rapidly changing global market.”

They added that they are “working with the UAW to offer proving ground employees special packages, or they can choose to follow their work in a transfer of operations.”

It goes on to say that the 41 members of staff employed at the facility could be placed on an “indefinite layoff, which would entitle them to pay and benefits for two years.”

Since its inception, the site has been used for hot weather testing for automobiles.

The facility features around 70 miles of track, which includes a high-speed oval, various shorter handling tracks, and off-road testing grounds.

CNBC say that the Arizona complex is one of 18 facilities that Stellantis notified the UAW that it could potentially close during their contract negotiations last year.

Naturally, Stellantis, like other automakers, own several proving grounds across different climates and terrains to test their vehicles.

Their other major proving ground facility in the US is a 4,000-acre campus located west of Detroit in Chelsea, Michigan.

This comes just weeks after Chrysler were forced to recall 129,000 of its vehicles over a dangerous issue that could lead to crashes.

Drivers have been asked to book an urgent repair after the brand identified a malfunction with a vital piece of tech.

Also, Stellantis recently paused production of one of its EV models due to the vehicle’s poor sales.

The weak sales come as Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said earlier this year that lowered prices and slowed productions from EV makers risked an industry “bloodbath”.

Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk injury updates as superstar San Francisco 49ers duo face being out for season

SAN Francisco 49ers wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk could both face spending the remainder of the season on the sidelines.

The pair were both withdrawn from the action during the 49ers’ 28-18 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Deebo Samuel only managed to play four snaps during the game after it was announced that he was feeling ill in the team hotel prior to the game.

The 28-year-old was withdrawn and ultimately hospitalised after he was found to have fluid in his lungs following a reported case of pneumonia.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday.: “I think it started acting up in the middle of the night Saturday night or early Sunday morning and then it just kind of evolved as the day went on.

“Once we found out he had the fluid in his lungs and stuff after the game, then I believe they sent him over there [the hospital].”

Thankfully, ESPN are now reporting that Samuel was released from hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

It’s claimed there is no current timetable for his return to the field, but Shanahan suggested on Monday that he was unsure if the receiver would be available for this Sunday’s clash with the Dallas Cowboys.

Samuel wasn’t the only receiver taken out of action during the Chiefs defeat either.

Brandon Aiyuk was withdrawn late in the first half after suffering an injury after catching a 15-yard pass from Brock Purdy.

Aiyuk collided with Chiefs defensive backs Chamarri Conner and Trent McDuffie and hobbled off after being treated on the field.

Unfortunately for the 26-year-old his season is now OVER.

Brandon Aiyuk was left hurt after a collision on the field on Sunday and has suffered a torn ACL and MCL[/caption]

An MRI scan confirmed that the 49ers receiver, who penned a new $120million deal this summer, has suffered a torn ACL and MCL from the collision.

The 49ers have already been without star running back Christian McCaffrey all season.

While Talanoa Hufanga has only managed two games so far this year after suffering a wrist injury.

However, there could be some good news for the Niners with McCaffrey’s wife Olivia Culpo giving fans a rare update into his rehab.

On her Instagram Story, Culpo posted a picture of McCaffrey swimming in a pool with a caption that read: “Flipper boy is back”.

However, head coach Shanahan said that he would be “surprised” if McCaffrey returned to the team for the Cowboys game this weekend.

He indicated that it would be more likely for the running back to return after the bye against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 49ers have struggled at the start of the season with their record currently at 3-4.

Meaning they just one loss away from matching their loss total from the 2023 season, and their Super Bowl hopes could be fading fast.

Porn, peeping Toms, sex in aisles & bacon bookmarks – what really goes on at your local library, according to librarian

YOU MIGHT have thought librarians have an easy job sorting through fantasy books and romance novels – but it seems these stories often jump off the pages and become a reality for these bookworms.

These hardworking book lovers see far stranger things than any fiction book could write up, from illicit affairs in dark corners to visitors using the WiFi to watch their favourite saucy films.

Librarians are used to seeing drama and action – and not just within the novels available on the shelves[/caption]

The drama doesn’t just take place within the books themselves
Getty

Libraries have become busier than ever, visits jumped by 71 per cent between 2022 and 2023, and one in three of us now use one, but it seems not everyone is going there to rent out their favourite Agatha Christie book.

Recently, a library in Essex was forced to hire guards after they saw 50 incidents of anti-social behaviour in three months, while other libraries have seen youngsters throwing books around and even climbing on the roof.

Librarians may seem to always have their nose in a book, but it turns out they’ve got their eyes on more than that and see every little detail of what you’re up to in there.

Fabulous’ bookworm – who has manned libraries in the Midlands for more than 30 years – spills the beans…

Public porn peepers

While you might think a library is a sex-free zone, it’s far from it.

Men take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and come in to watch porn.

The first time I witnessed it I was horrified – I was young and didn’t know what I should do.

I ended up taking the very rattly books trolley close to him and started coughing.

One time I caught one man stuffing a magnifying mouse down his trousers so he could examine his private parts in more detail.

Secret librarian

When that didn’t work I switched off his computer at the server.

I never went close enough to see exactly what he was watching but he definitely had his hand under the table.

The library I work in also has a special ‘mouse’ which magnifies text for the short sighted.

One time I caught one man stuffing it down his trousers so he could examine his private parts in more detail.

I walked past and did a double take and then had to rush away because I found it so funny.

Another couple popped in, grabbed books, and got their stamps which they were clearly using as an alibi so they could tell their poor unsuspecting partners they’d been at the library.

Secret librarian

And we are also used as a venue for illicit encounters.

One couple, in their late 40s, met every Thursday morning and never arrived together. She was always there first with bags of shopping.

He’d arrive sheepishly, they’d kiss, then sit together holding hands and whispering like teenagers, while pretending to look at books.

Another couple regularly popped in, grabbed books, and got their stamps which they were clearly using as an alibi so they could trick their poor unsuspecting partners into thinking they’d been at the library.

Getty
A surprising amount of people use the library to publicly watch porn[/caption]

Why do unfaithful partners choose public places to commit adultery?

Sex and relationship expert Kate Taylor says:

“It’s partly role-playing. By going to public places, cheaters can pretend their relationship is above board. They can enjoy experiencing life as if they were a “proper” couple — without any of the stresses and strains of a full-blown commitment, of course.

“This form of escapism appeals to cheats who don’t want to leave their official relationship. It’s also the thrill of getting caught. Going outside, adulterous couples could be busted at any moment.

“That’s exciting – up to a point. To lower the risk, cheats will often steer clear of their usual haunts. So instead of their local pub, they’ll hit the library.

“Instead of strolling hand-in-hand through their local park, they’ll make out in the car park. This exhibitionism is attractive to cheats who get off on the feeling of being rebellious.”

Read more from Kate about sex and relationships here

After all, a spouse would never suspect you were hooking up with someone else if you said you were popping to the library…

Snot-covered books & bacon bookmarks

People bring books back in a terrible state, dropped in the bath or reeking of smoke.

We have to either air them or throw them away if they’re really bad.

One visitor always used cooked bacon as a bookmark – I will never understand why.

We’d suggest they stopped and they did for a while but then they’d start again – absolutely bizarre.

And there’s so much snot left on the pages which is absolutely vile.

Serious safety concerns

We’ve had some regulars with very odd foibles.

One woman for example always comes in and insists on opening all the windows whatever the weather.

We’re so short staffed that if something did kick off we have very little back up.

Secret librarian

And another one that will only use computer number seven – and if that one isn’t free will stand behind the person on it until they leave.

Libraries are designated ‘warm spaces’ – free community spaces where people can come to stay warm – so you get all sorts in, not just
bookworms.

I worked in a library in Birmingham for a while and a man would come in and just rant about how much he hated the city it was quite disconcerting.

Recently it was suggested that libraries should have panic buttons installed and staff should wear body cams.

I think it’s a good idea, because though I’ve never been seriously worried for my safety I can see how situations could spiral.

We’re so short staffed that if something did kick off we have very little back up.

a woman with red lips holds her finger to her mouth

It was suggested that libraries should have panic buttons installed[/caption]

Drug deaths in the loos

We find drugs in the toilets both, both needles and foil.

So we periodically have to lock the doors so people have to request the keys which would break their habit of thinking it was a
good, regular place to use drugs.

It can be very sad to see people who are clearly regular users, some of them look so ill.

I have heard of people being found dead in the toilets in a library but fortunately that’s never happened in the ones I’ve worked in.

Canoodling on bean bags

We have a group of young teenage boys that come in most Fridays – and shout random swear words loudly.

We call them the ‘sweary boys’.

They usually run away after a minute or so, but if they don’t we ask them to leave.

I have been abused by them, the last time they swore at me in a horrific and very graphic way, which I shouldn’t have to put up with.

Other teenagers come in and canoodle on the bean bags, mostly in winter because it’s warmer in here than the local park.

Some teens are very loud and I know there are libraries that have a huge problem with them, coming in and throwing books around and climbing on the shelves.

You have to kick them out, because it isn’t fair on other people, but a large group of teenage boys is intimidating – and the boys are much worse than the girls.

Boredom & bonking

I also worked briefly in a university library and that was much worse for sex.

The students would get bored and have a saucy break at the back of the library – it was quite well known.

I never caught anyone in the act but did see some quite flushed faces….

I didn’t worry too much as it wasn’t open to the public, they were discreet, and I reckoned other students would see worse in the union bar!

a man and woman kissing in front of a bookshelf
Students would get bored and end up bonking
Getty

Book rage

‘Book rage’ is rife.

Surprisingly people get really angry if you can’t find the right book for them.

They sometimes come in with the vaguest outline of the plot imaginable and say, ‘you know it’s set in the war, in the big house in the country’.

They then get really frustrated when you can’t identify which book it is!

Dump and run

In the old days mothers would come in and dump their kids while they went shopping.

But these days it isn’t allowed.

But mums and particularly dads will often come in and point their little ones at the children’s section and then sit on their phones ignoring them rather than interacting.

It means we often end up feeling like babysitters.

Grimy rhyme time

At one library I was in charge of doing the weekly rattle and rhyme mothers’ groups.

The toys would live in a box and I’d drag them out once a week – they were literally never cleaned in those days.

But post-pandemic they’re more careful.

There were some very feral children in the group, so I’d strategically place copies of Jo Frost’s super nanny books around hoping that the mothers would pick up on her hints….

Phil Taylor, 64, officially confirms his retirement from darts in interview as he says ‘my body is 90’ after injury woes

PHIL TAYLOR has confirmed he is retiring from professional darts.

The darts legend, 64, pulled out of the World Seniors Darts Masters due to complications following hip surgery.

The Power is the most successful darts player of all time
News Group Newspapers Ltd

Having won more titles than any other player during his pro career, Taylor was set to step away from the oche following the tournament, scheduled to start on November 8.

Taylor has 16 World Matchplay, 11 World Grand Prix titles and 14 World Championships to his name between 1995 and 2012.

The Power originally retired in 2018 as he felt he could no longer compete with the likes of Michael van Gerwen or Luke Humphries.

He then made his return to competitive darts four years later in the senior series.

Taylor had hoped to sign off his career once and for all with the World Seniors Masters, but could not compete due to a hip problem after he underwent surgery in the summer.

And speaking on talkSPORT, he has now confirmed his decision, with his body simply unable to keep up with his “teen” mind.

He said: “I’m retired now, properly retired. I’m just going to do some personal appearances like yourself [Ally McCoist].

“How do I know? My eyes started going a few years ago then my hip went and then the travelling. You’re away from home four-five days a week and it’s good for money but it’s not good for your family.

“My mind is still in my teens but my body is 90.

“How did I keep going? If I won a players championship that paid for the food bills. Every tournament was about paying the bills.

“Has there been a better marketed sport in last decade? They (the fans) don’t just have a little bit of fun, they have a lot of fun. It’s fantastic.”

Asked who he reckons would win the Darts World Championship this year given how stacked the field was, he named Luke Littler, Humphries and Van Gerwen as the main contenders.

However, he said it was hard to look past World No1 Cool Hand Humphries.

He also addressed rumours about him going on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Taylor said: “I’d be interested but not this year, it’s too late.

“Someone mentioned I was the favourite in the bookies but I said ‘I have no idea how’.”

On his injury struggles, he previously said: “Everything was going fine, but then I just did a little too much and apparently I’ve torn my scar tissue. So yeah, it’s a bit painful.

“It’s been the worst pain I’ve ever had these last twelve months. Honestly, I’ll be glad when this year is gone.

“Practicing, I’ve been okay, but when you’ve been playing for a few hours there’s this really bad pain in the hip. It’s like having toothache and it drives me crazy, it really does.”

Phil Taylor's glittering career

Phil Taylor quit his day job in the ceramic industry to become a full-time darts player in 1987 and went on to establish himself as a legend of the sport.

He dominated darts for over two decades, winning 214 professional tournaments – including 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships.

The Power won his first World Championship in 1990, three years after becoming a professional player, and clinched his second two years later.

He then won eight consecutive world titles from 1995 to 2002.

Among his incredible list of accolades are 16 World Matchplay titles, 11 World Grand Prix titles, five UK Open titles, four European Championship titles and six Grand Slam titles.

Taylor also won six Premier League titles, four Championship League titles, five Desert Classic titles. two US Open titles, a UK Masters title and a World Masters title.

His incredible achievements saw him nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in 2006 and 2010, finishing as runner-up in the latter year.

Taylor won his last World Championship in 2013.

How did The Dating Game work? Real Woman of the Hour TV show explained

EVERYONE is talking about Anna Kendrick’s new movie, Woman of the Hour.

The film sees her character meet a serial killer on the famous 70s show, The Dating Game. Here we take a look at how the matchmaking series worked.

Anna Kendrick’s Woman of the Hour features The Dating Game[/caption]
The Dating Game – seen here in the Netflix film – saw a woman pick a date from three men
Netflix

The Dating Game was broadcast on ABC and aired its first episode on December 20, 1965.

Hosted by the late Jim Lange, the show was hugely popular across the States and saw millions of viewers tuning in every week.

The program was originally broadcast in black and white, but when a prime-time version began in October 1966, it switched to color.

Over the years there have been several versions of the show, including The New Dating Game and The All-New Dating Game.

The series came to an end in 1999, although actress Zooey Deschanel and singer Michael Bolton hosted The Celebrity Dating Game in 2021.

Matchmaking show

The Dating Game saw a single woman ask three questions to three potential partners.

The men were hidden behind a screen and could only be seen by the audience, not her.

The show would conclude with the woman selecting one of the men to date, based on their answers to her questions.

The show was similar to the hit series Blind Date that aired in the 80s and 90s in the UK.

Dating Game Killer

In September 1978, serial killer Rodney Alcala competed on The Dating Game, inspiring Anna Kendrick’s first film, Woman of the Hour.

Alcala was introduced on the show as a “professional photographer”.

Little did producers know his photography often involved disturbing images of his victims, taken after he had attacked them.

It’s thought Alcala was selected for The Dating Game because he was tall, handsome and charming, and no one did a background check on him.

In the episode he appeared in, Alcala was chosen by Cheryl Bradshaw at the end of the show as the man she wanted to date.

ABC
Evil killer Alcala is seen here taking part on The Dating Game in 1978[/caption]
ABC
Cheryl Bradshaw picked Alcala but thought he was ‘creepy’ and wouldn’t go on the date[/caption]

However, later said she decided not to proceed with the date, a decision which probably saved her life.

Cheryl said it came about after she had a conversation with Alcala backstage during which she thought he was “creepy”.

The original episode of The Dating Game where Cheryl picked Alcala no longer exists in full, but some clips are online.

Alcala was nicknamed the Dating Game Killer as he took part in the series during his reign of terror.

The evil murderer was found guilty of eight murders across New York, California, and Wyoming between 1971 and 1979 and jailed for life.

He died in 2021 of natural causes.

Who was Fernando Valenzuela and how did the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher die?

MEXICAN professional baseball pitcher and sports broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela has tragically died aged 63.

Here is everythning you need to know about his life as a Los Angeles Dodgers star and how he became a baseball legend.

Valenzuela won the World Series in 1981 and was a six-time All-Star[/caption]

Who was Fernando Valenzuela?

Fernando Valenzuela Anguamea was a mexican professional baseball pitcher who played 17 Major League Baseball (MLB) seasons between 1980 and 1997.

For most part of his career, the baseball star played for Los Angeles Dodgers where he  batted and threw left-handed.

Born and raised in Etchohuaquila, Mexico, he was the youngest of 12 children.

Both his parents Avelino and María were farmers who belonged to the Mayo indigenous group.

Valenzuela began his professional sports career in 1977 playing for Mexican Pacific League team Mayos de Navojoa.

He moved to the States after being acquired by the Dodgers in 1979.

How did Fernando Valenzuela become a baseball star?

After moving to America, Valenzuela became an instant hit in Los Angeles, hitting the ground running as a rookie and attracting attention for his unusual southpaw “screwball”.

His incredible popularity was dubbed “Fernandomania” – with members of LA‘s Latino community immediately taking to him.

Valenzuela’s 1981 MLB season would go down in legend, with the Mexican becoming the first player to win the league’s Rookie of the Year Award and Cy Young Award for best pitcher in the same year.

That season would finish in glory, with Valenzuela helping the Dodgers win their fifth World Series.

He also earned the first of six All-Star appearances during his career.

The star ahd the best period of his careerr from 1981 to 1986.

Valenzuela would eventually be released by his beloved Dodgers in 1991, before brief stints with the California Angels, Baltimore OriolesPhiladelphia PhilliesSan Diego Padres and St Louis Cardinals.

The Dodgers remained the team in Valenzuela’s heart, however, and he returned in 2003 to serve as the team’s Spanish-language radio color analyst.

He worked in the role for 20 years, before going on leave prior to this season in order to focus on his health.

Last year, his No34 jersey was retired by the Dodgers.

What happened to Fernando Valenzuela?

Earlier this month, Valenzuela was hospitalised after sufferiung from health problems, his team said in a statement.

They added that Valenzuela and his family wanted to keep the disease a secret and uirged fans to respect their privacy.

The statement read: “Fernando Valenzuela has stepped away from the Dodger broadcast booth for the remainder of this year to focus on his health.

“He and his family truly appreciate the love and support of fans as he aims to return for the 2025 season.

“They have asked for privacy during this time.”

“Not much is known,” journalist David Faitelson added.

“He and his family have wanted to keep the disease secret.

“We pray for his speedy recovery.”

Fans were quick to leave their comments of support on social media.

“Prayers up for Fernando,” one wrote.

“Heal up goat,” a second posted on X.

“Prayers for the legend,” a third said.

However, on Tuesday October 22, Valenzuela tragically passed away after reportedly battling from his health problems.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred paid tribute to Valenzuela in a statement.

“Fernando Valenzuela was one of the most impactful players of his generation,” Manfred began. “With his distinctive pitching style, the Dodgers left-hander’s rookie season generated so much excitement in the U.S. and his native Mexico that it became commonly referred to as ‘Fernandomania.’

“His 1981 season ranks among the most decorated pitching years of all-time as Fernando was the National League Rookie of the Year, the NL Cy Young Award winner, a Silver Slugger and a World Series champion.

“Following his memorable career, Fernando was an outstanding ambassador for baseball. He consistently supported the growth of the game through the World Baseball Classic and at MLB events across his home country.

‘A BELOVED FIGURE IN DODGER HISTORY’

“As a member of the Dodger broadcasting team for more than 20 years, Fernando helped to reach a new generation of fans and cultivate their love of the game.

“Fernando will always remain a beloved figure in Dodger history and a special source of pride for the millions of Latino fans he inspired.”

The Dodgers are set to commence their World Series battle with the New York Yankees on Friday.

“We will honor Fernando’s memory during the 2024 World Series at Dodger Stadium,” Manfred, 66, confirmed. “On behalf of Major League Baseball, I extend my deepest condolences to Fernando’s family, the Dodgers, his friends across the game, and all the loyal baseball fans of Mexico.”

Dodgers CEO Stan Kasten added, “On behalf of the Dodger organization, we profoundly mourn the passing of Fernando. He is one of the most influential Dodgers ever and belongs on the Mount Rushmore of franchise heroes.

“He galvanized the fan base with the Fernandomania season of 1981 and has remained close to our hearts ever since, not only as a player but also as a broadcaster.

“He has left us all too soon. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Linda and his family.”

In 2021, Valenzuela was asked about the legacy that he would like to leave behind, 40 years on from “Fernandomania”.

“It would be really great if they remembered me as someone who always tried his best to always give them a good show,” he said. “So that they could have fun with this beautiful game.”

On Wednesday, he appeared back at a Perth court to change his living address for the strict bail terms ordered by the judge, the Daily Mail reported.

He arrived at the court in a cream hoodie pulled-up over his head scowling as he saw the press pack.

Upon getting out of the van, he exclaimed: “F…… hell” at the sight of the waiting press pack.

Filly, 29, did not talk directly to the gaggle of waiting reporters as he quickly walked into the courthouse.

Inside the courthouse cops had no issue with him changing the address he was bailed to – saying it didn’t “appear to raise any flags at this time”.

On his way back the car, Filly had a smile on his face and the entertainer then took the chance to blow smooches to waiting fans.

One supporter shouts at him: “Yeah, Yung Filly, you’ve got this, don’t stress man, head up high.”

Other bail terms remain on Filly – including that he is unable to leave Western Australia until December and had to surrender his passport.

He was also stung with a $100,000AUD (£50,000) bail surety, has to visit a police station each day, and is banned from contacting the alleged victim.

He does not appear to have requested to change any of those restrictions placed on him.

Last week, Filly risked breaching his bail conditions, the West Australian reported, after arriving only 20 minutes before the deadline for his reporting requirement.

The accommodation switch comes after WA Police Prosecutor Julius Depetro revealed in court that cops still want to speak to a key witness as part of their probe.

He said: “There was another party that was part of the allegation who was in company with this accused.”

It is not yet clear what relationship that person had to Filly and why they were with him during the time surrounding the allegation.

Depetro also said there would be other witnesses police would speak to from other parts of the night.

Cops investigating him say they have an “extremely strong” case that includes CCTV footage of the social media star on the night of the alleged offences.

They say they have seen CCTV footage that confirms Filly was with the 20-year-old woman on September 28 – when she alleges the assault took place.

Filly’s lawyer said his client “will need to lead a fairly quiet existence for a while”.

Police arrested the rapper in Brisbane on October 10 and flew him six hours back across the Outback to face a court.

Footage showed Filly being escorted through Perth airport with his hands cuffed in front of him flanked by two officials.

Filly, who has 1.8m subscribers on YouTube, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his Perth hotel on September 28.

The alleged assault unfolded after a performance at Bar1 Nightclub in the suburb of Hillarys on the night of September 27.

Detectives from Western Australia Police’s sexual assault squad charged Filly with four counts of sexual penetration without consent.

They also arrested him on three counts of assault and one count of impede a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.

Watch terrifying moment ‘drunk’ wrong-way driver almost smashes into Kamala Harris’ motorcade in shock highway near-miss

SHOCKING footage shows the moment Vice President Kamala Harris’ car was nearly struck by a driver believed to have been drunk.

The near-miss incident happened on a major highway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, October 21.

A wrong-way driver was recorded driving right towards the vice president’s convoy and her entourage.

The 55-year-old man was seen going westbound on the eastbound lanes of the I-94.

This shocking video showed how a white car moved to the left as the first police vehicle protecting the vice president approached.

The video then caught the rogue vehicle driving past another six cars, coming scarily close to Harris

Police said they believed the man had been drinking while driving and added they later found an open beer can in his car, according to ABC affiliate WISN-TV.

The last Milwaukee County Sheriff’s vehicle pulled over on the highway and arrested the 55-year-old.

Police reported that the man failed multiple sobriety tests and was apparently confused by the incident.

When officers informed the man that he had nearly hit Harris’ car “he was extremely surprised and had no recollection of entering the freeway or coming close to striking another vehicle,” the arrest report said.

“He also stated he did not have any intention of harming Vice President Kamala Harris or anybody related to her campaign,” the report added.

The 55-year-old was arrested and charged with drunk driving and second-degree reckless endangering safety.

This incident has raised more questions about the Secret Service, following Donald Trump’s assassination attempt in July 2024.

The group was scrutinized after Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was able to climb a roof in Butler, Pennsylvania, and shot at the former president during a rally.

The Secret Service shared a statement after Monday night’s incident and said they acknowledged what happened.

“We are grateful to the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Office for their response which allowed them to stop the motorist and take the driver into custody for DUI,” the organization said.

Harris’ running mate Tim Walz faced a similar issue in Milwaukee last month when several vehicles crashed behind his motorcade.

The vans at the back of a car carrying Walz crashed as they traveled from the airport to a spot on the campaign.

Walz, the Minnesota governor, was not hurt in the incident.

Fernando Valenzuela dead at 63: Baseball in mourning as legendary LA Dodgers pitcher passes away

FERNANDO VALENZUELA has died aged 63.

The iconic pitcher achieved legendary status with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1980s.

Born and raised in Etchohuaquila, Mexico, Valenzuela moved to the States after being acquired by the Dodgers in 1979.

He became an instant hit in Los Angeles, hitting the ground running as a rookie and attracting attention for his unusual southpaw “screwball”.

His incredible popularity was dubbed “Fernandomania” – with members of LA’s Latino community immediately taking to him.

Valenzuela would eventually be released by his beloved Dodgers in 1991, before brief stints with the California Angels, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and St Louis Cardinals.
