RESIDENTS in a Glasgow street have been evacuated from their homes this evening due to a suspected gas leak at a flat.
Emergency crews are currently at the scene in the Cathcart area of the city.

It comes following a suspected gas leak at a flat.
Many people have been evacuated from neighbouring properties.
Gas engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.
And cops have urged the public to avoid the area while works are being carried out.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Abbotsford Place in the Cathcart area of the city is closed following a report of a suspected gas leak at a flat.
“Emergency services are in attendance and people have been evacuated from neighbouring properties.
“The public is asked to avoid the area while gas engineers work to resolve the issue.”
