DEION Sanders has made a massive signing to help his Colorado Buffaloes squad for next season.
A huge 320-pound defensive tackle has joined the NFL icon and college football head coach’s Colorado squad.
Former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis celebrates after his team’s victory against the Georgia Bulldogs on September 28[/caption] Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders walks the field before a game against the Colorado State Rams on September 14[/caption]On Monday, ESPN reported that former Alabama Crimson Tide’s Jehiem Oatis has committed to the Buffaloes.
The 6-foot-5 defender was one of the most sought-after players in the transfer portal and ESPN’s No. 5 overall transfer player.
The 22-year-old Oatis has two more seasons of college eligibility.
He has started 13 games in the last two campaigns at Alabama and played in four games in 2024.
Colorado’s latest big-name transfer addition comes after posting a 9-3 record in 2024 and a No. 23 finish in the final College Football Playoff rankings.
Oatis told ESPN that he decided to join the Buffaloes because of Coach Prime, defensive line coach Damione Lewis, and former NFL legend and analyst Warren Sapp.
“I feel like it’s beneficial for me, and I feel like I can give a lot of help to this season,” he told the outlet.
“And I will have a coach I can depend on and a position coach leading me the right way.”
Oatis dealt with offseason surgeries and didn’t participate in spring practice.
He played a rotational role under new Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack and eventually decided during the season to sit out the rest of 2024 and redshirt.
During his Crimson Tide tenure, he posted 52 tackles, 5 pass breakups, and 1.5 sacks.
Sanders will have major work to do for the 2025 season.
The 57-year-old will lose 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, his son and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and nine starters on defense.
It’s expected that Colorado will sign another slew of transfer recruits for 2025, just as they did for 2024.
The school has already gotten a commitment from five-star quarterback prospect Julian Lewis.
Oatis is a native of Mississippi State and has taken notice of Sanders’ ability to jumpstart teams.
Sanders made Jackson State a nationally popular team.
“Just seeing Coach Prime go first to Jackson State, where I’m from, and just to see him coach at Jackson State and see what he did for them,” Oatis told ESPN.
“Then coming over to Colorado and make this team great again. It was a really great thing to do.”
The Buffaloes have their eyes on a victory over the Big 12 Conference rivals BYU Cougars which can see the team secure their first-10-win season since 2016.
PETE Davidson made an appearance last night and fans think he looks healthier than ever.
Earlier this year, comic and TV star Pete, 31, checked himself into rehab to work on his mental health twice.
Pete Davidson attended the All In: Comedy About Love By Simon Rich Gala Performance at Hudson Theatre on December 16[/caption] The SNL alum looked ‘healthier’ than ever, according to fans[/caption] Pete’s complexion has been less ‘healthy’ in the past[/caption] Pete had his hair buzzed and wore a black shirt complete with a brown jacket[/caption]Pete was in rehab back in August, and again just last month in November.
And now it seems that Pete is doing well again, which comes after he stepped out at an event this week.
After an insider previously told The U.S. Sun that Pete plans on staying sober, the SNL star and comedian was seen at the All In: Comedy About Love By Simon Rich Gala Performance at Hudson Theatre on Monday night.
Looking “plump and full of life,” Pete looked incredible as he attended the event.
Smiling on the red carpet before heading inside, Pete could be seen wearing black trousers, a black shirt, a brown jacket, and some white sneakers.
Pete’s short brown hair was on display, with the comic donning facial hair too.
The star posed and smiled on the red carpet before heading inside for the gala performance, with fans quick to comment and react to his healthy new look.
“He looks so plump and full of life, it’s so lovely to see,” penned one Reddit user under the new snaps of Pete that were shared in a pop culture forum.
“Pete looks good. I hope he’s doing well,” added a second.
A third person then added, “He looks so great! Best he’s looked in months.”
“I like seeing Pete look happy and healthy. I am always rooting for him,” said a fourth.
A fifth person wrote, “Pictures never tell a whole story but I will see Pete looks healthy here. I have a soft spot for him so it’s always nice to see him looking happy/healthy.”
Meanwhile, a sixth said, “He looks super healthy.”
This comes after an insider recently told The U.S. Sun that Pete has been focused on staying clean as he plans for his future.
Pete Davidson has checked himself into rehab on several occasions, and for varying reasons each time.
Pete first checked into rehab in 2017 as he was diagnosed with BPD and PTSD.
In 2019, he went to the Sierra Tucson Treatment Center in Arizona.
The comedian underwent treatment at another mental health facility in June 2023.
Most recently, he checked back into rehab at the end of July 2024.
A source revealed that Pete had left the facility after only a few weeks.
In November 2024, The U.S. Sun revealed that Pete had once again checked into rehab, this time in Florida.
“Pete had an issue, so he went to rehab,” a source said. “That took time, and he’s still trying to restore normalcy to his life.”
The source claimed Pete hasn’t jumped back into working yet, as he has been considering roles while working on his mental health.
“He had a problem, he got help for it, and he is completing proper post-rehab treatment,” the source said.
Pete checked into rehab in July, and it was then in August that the comedian‘s representative confirmed that he was still receiving treatment despite reports saying he was no longer at the wellness facility.
Then, just weeks after he was seen at an event with Machine Gun Kelly, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Pete was in treatment for the second time this year.
“He checked into rehab in Florida fairly recently,” the insider said of Pete. “He flew in on a private jet.”
“He’s in pretty bad shape this time around,” the insider added. “He’s not in a good place.”
The insider claimed the comedian’s treatment check-in was very recent.
Pete’s recent rehab stint last month and earlier this summer were not his first, with him having previously spent time in rehab in June 2023 to help manage his PTSD and borderline personality disorder.
A pal of the comic revealed at the time that the Saturday Night Live star regularly checks himself into rehab for “tune-ups” and “mental health breaks.”
Back in October, fans thought Pete looked super healthy after his summer rehab stint, and just weeks before his most recent one, when he was seen out and about with his tattoos seemingly removed.
Pete is known for the several inkings that adorn his body, with his arms and hands usually covered in intricate illustrations. And now these seem to have been removed.
“Random side note but, how many times can you actually get your tattoos removed? I feel like this is Pete’s third time??” penned one person on Reddit at the time of the comic being seen at an event with Machine Gun Kelly.

The ambitious project plans to connect Sicily to mainland Italy by the early 2030s, with construction sites expected to open by the end of this year.
Italy is set to build a bridge connecting Sicily to the country’s mainland[/caption] The Messina Strait Bridge will become the world’s longest suspension bridge, spanning 2.2 miles[/caption] It will feature three vehicle lanes in each direction plus railway lines[/caption]Once finished, the bridge will stretch 3.6 kilometres (2.2 miles), surpassing Turkey’s Çanakkale Bridge as the world’s longest single-span suspension bridge.
The total cost of the mega project is estimated at an eye watering £12billion (€13.5 billion), with the European Union agreeing to fund 50 per cent of the executive design costs for rail infrastructure — around £20million.
The Italian government has vowed to manage costs carefully, including a safeguard clause that allows the cancellation of works if expenses exceed forecasts by 50 per cent.
The idea of linking Sicily to the Italian mainland dates back to ancient Rome, when Consul Metellus supposedly connected barrels and boats to transport war elephants across the strait in 252 BCE.
Since then, various attempts have been proposed but stalled, including recent efforts in 2009, which were abandoned in 2013.
Now, under the leadership of Italy’s right-wing government and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini, the plan is back on track.
“The bridge will bring work, wealth, beauty, and will save tons of CO2 in the air, making it one of the greenest bridges in the world,” Salvini said.
The government has also emphasized the bridge’s potential to reduce Mafia influence in the region by creating jobs and economic opportunities.
But the Strait of Messina — linking the Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas — poses significant engineering and environmental challenges.
Known for its strong currents and seismic activity, the area was the site of a devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake in 1908, which killed over 100,000 people.
Despite this, the proposed design claims to withstand earthquakes up to 7.5 magnitude and winds of 300 km/h (186 mph).
The bridge will feature three vehicle lanes in each direction, as well as railway lines to boost transport efficiency.
Officials estimate the project will create over 100,000 jobs and significantly ease congestion on the region’s busy ferry systems.
Panoramic view of the Strait of Messina, in the place planned for the construction of the bridge[/caption]Cargo arriving in Sicily could also be transferred directly to trains, potentially speeding up trade routes between southern Italy and northern Europe.
While the road to Sicily remains a symbolic bridge for now, the current government insists this project will lay “the first stone” in turning a Roman dream into reality.
“The transshipment of ferries costs more each year than building the bridge,” Salvini claims, pointing to the long-term economic benefits.
If construction proceeds as planned, the Strait of Messina bridge could be operational by 2032, transforming connectivity and realising a vision that has endured through centuries of dreams and delays.
AS of December 2024, the five longest suspension bridges in the world, ranked by the length of their main spans, are:
THIS is the moment North Korean troops, sent to fight on the frozen Ukranian frontline, were reportedly nuked by US-supplied HIMARS missiles.
Aerial footage appeared to show how the foreign soldiers, fighting for Vladimir Putin’s evil invasion, were blitzed by cluster warheads.
Around 10,000 North Korean troops are thought to have been sent to help Mad Vlad’s army.
Dramatic footage reportedly showed how Ukraine has fought against this legion of the Korean People’s Army.
The two-missile strike hit near the settlements of Malaya Loknya and Kruglen’koye in the Kursk region, according to Radio Liberty.
This is not the first time Ukraine has used the US-made M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) against these terrorists.
The $100m air defence system is made up of long-range missiles capable of striking targets miles away from the frontline and designed to avoid detection.
Disturbing footage appeared to show dead troops on the ground almost instantly after the explosion.
A separate video purportedly shows North Korean troops moving over a snow field in the same Malaya Loknya area.
Volodymyr Zelensky’s troops had their first “full-scale battle” with North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region on 14 December, according to Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov.
Butusov said: “More than 200 North Korean soldiers attacked Ukrainian positions from several directions.
“The enemy’s goal was to capture one of the forest belt sections.
“Russian troops provided powerful fire support and actively used electronic warfare (EW) equipment, including ground stations and Mi-8TPR helicopters.”
This has not been the first time Ukrainian forces have shot HIMARS missiles into Putin’s land.
A huge Russian train carrying £3.2 million worth of oil was blown up in a precision strike using these long-range missiles.
This nuke destroyed the locomotive and rear wagon while Ukranian drones were deployed to finish the job.
Footage released by Ukraine’s spies showed the railway wreck in a massive blaze on the tracks after the blitz.
This strategic attack also blocked a key rail line used by the Russian military.
Putin’s forces have reportedly burnt the faces of dead North Korean soldiers on their frontline to hide war losses, The Sun has previously reported.
This shocking claim has emerged from reports that revealed a strain in the seemingly solid camaraderie.
The is the first clear image of a North Korean soldier fighting for Russia[/caption]Ukrainian officials and footage suggest Russian troops are covering up the deaths “burning” some faces of fallen North Korean soldiers to erase identifying features.
Putin’s army has also allegedly placed masks on these dead soldiers.
President Zelensky condemned the barbaric treatment of North Korean fighters.
He said: “Russia is not only involving North Korean soldiers in assaults on Ukrainian positions but also trying to hide the losses of these people.
“After the battles with our guys, the Russians are also trying to… literally burn the faces of the killed North Korean soldiers.
“This is a demonstration of the contempt that now reigns in Russia—contempt for everything human.
“There is no reason for Koreans to fight and die for Putin and even after their death, all that awaits them from Russia is mockery.”

The bogus inmate was found trembling under a blanket before being freed by the team, exclaiming: “Oh God, there is light.”
The trembling man in the viral clip was in fact one of Assad’s officers – Salama Mohammad Salama[/caption] The Syrian ‘prisoner’ looked up at the sky and exclaimed ‘Oh God, there is light’ in the clip[/caption] The TV crew found the apparent Syrian prisoner hiding under a blanket[/caption]The man named himself to CNN’s Clarissa Ward as Adel Gharbal, a father from Homs.
But, following claims by the fact-checking site Verify-Sy that he could be one of Assad’s puppets, CNN launched an investigation into the man’s identity.
The broadcaster soon confirmed that the man was not called Adel Gharbals – but Salama Mohammad Salama.
Salama “was known by locals for running the Air Force Intelligence Directorate’s checkpoints” and was accused of “having a reputation for extortion and harassment,” CNN said.
A bombshell image was reportedly provided by locals to the CNN and Verify-Sy of Salama pulling a devious smirk behind a desk in what looks to be a government office wearing military uniform.
The groundbreaking picture was fact-checked with facial recognition software which found the evil officer was a 99 per cent match with the “inmate” from the rescue.
CNN said his whereabouts are currently unknown.
When reports first arose that the inmate was actually Salama, Verify-Sy said the officer brutally killed civilians and was responsible for detaining and torturing young men in the city on fabricated charges, citing locals as their sources.
Verify-Sy added: “Many were targeted simply for refusing to pay bribes, rejecting cooperation or even for arbitrary reasons like their appearance.”
They also accused the officer of involvement in “theft, extortion and coercing residents into becoming informants,” adding that he participated in military operations on various fronts in Homs in 2014.
The man had named himself to CNN’s Clarissa Ward as Adel Gharbal[/caption] Salama is captured on video being broken out of a cell that he said he had been held in for three months[/caption]CNN said it was unsure how Salama had ended up in the Damascus jail.
But locals previously said he was imprisoned less than a month ago because of a disagreement he had with a higher-ranking officer over cash he allegedly extorted.
Salama is captured on video being broken out of a cell that he said he had been held in for three months.
He’s shaking and on the verge of tears in the footage, holding Clarissa’s hand while he says that Assad’s intelligence service took him from his home and guards beat him in the prison.
This has now been proven as false, seeing as Salama was in fact running the Air Force Intelligence Directorate’s checkpoints in Homs.
The bogus inmate gets taken into the sunlight by the team, which he said he hadn’t seen for months.
Fact-checking site Verify-Sy initially picked up that the inmate bizarrely didn’t flinch or blink when he looked up at the sky, which seemed unusual for someone who had been held captive for so long.
The site, a part of Poynter’s International Fact-Checking Network, said: “Despite the purported harsh treatment of detainees in secret prisons, Gharbal appeared clean, well-groomed and physically healthy, with no visible injuries or signs of torture.”
They added that he was “an incongruous portrayal” of someone allegedly kept “in solitary confinement in the dark for 90 days”.
The CNN team had provided food and water for the man after getting him out the cell, who claimed he was left without any supplies for four days when his captors fled.
After the spectacular fall of the regime, Salama has reportedly been trying to gain sympathy to protect his life, claiming he was “forced” into committing his crimes, locals said.
Salama allegedly even went as far as deactivating his social media accounts and changing his phone number to erase any evidence of his involvement under Assad’s regime.
Before Salama’s identity was confirmed by CNN, the broadcaster confirmed that its portrayal of the man’s rescue was authentic and played out how it was reported.
The spokesperson told the Daily Beast: “No one other than the CNN team was aware of our plans to visit the prison building featured in our report that day.
“The events transpired as they appear in our film.
“The decision to release the prisoner featured in our report was taken by the guard – a Syrian rebel.
“We reported the scene as it unfolded, including what the prisoner told us, with clear attribution.”
They added that it was being investigated, leading to today’s bombshell discovery.
Shoes and clothes were found in secret compartment at Sednaya Prison[/caption] Dozens of red rope nooses used for mass hanging were also found[/caption] A view of personal belongings of inmates in ‘White Building’ also called as the execution block of Sednaya Prison[/caption]One of the biggest rebel operations after overthrowing Assad saw fighters liberate the harrowing Sednaya Military Prison – nicknamed the Human Slaughterhouse.
Haunting images from Sednaya show massive piles of clothes and shoes hidden away in a secret compartment.
Horrific footage also revealed piles of dead bodies in the dungeons of the hellhole site.
The bodies were taken to Al-Mujtahid Hospital as teams carried out an investigation into the secret areas of the prison.
Some held at Sednaya say they were raped, and in some cases, forced to rape other inmates.
Floors of cells were coated in blood from tortured prisoners, according to a 2017 Amnesty report, with the bodies of dead inmates collected like rubbish at 9am each morning by guards.
Detainees were also made to follow horrific rules while being deprived basic necessities like food, water and medicine.
When food would be delivered it would often be cruelly scattered across cell floors by guards with a mixture of blood and dirt.
A human iron press was even discovered that was allegedly used to crush prisoners to death in Sednaya.
Rebels also found dozens of red rope nooses used for mass hangings in an execution room.
Other disturbing accounts say the mass hangings occurred once or twice a week on a Monday and Wednesday – chillingly in the middle of the night.

SEDNAYA Prison – otherwise known as the Human Slaughterhouse – was a military prison near Damascus, Syria.
Operated by the government of Syrian Arab Republic, the hellhole prison was used to hold thousands of inmates that were civilian detainees, anti-government rebels and political prisoners.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) estimated in January 2021 that an overwhelming 30,000 detainees were horrifically executed under the Assad regime in Sednaya.
Guards would use torture as a killing technique, as well as have mass executions.
Some held at the horrific prison of Sednaya say they were raped, and in some cases, forced to rape other inmates.
A regular form of punishment was some kind of torture and sever beatings from guards, it’s claimed, which led to individuals suffering life-changing damage like disabilities or death.

The unbelievable practices, which human rights groups say amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, were authorised at the highest level of the Syrian government under Assad.
TAYLOR ROOKS will be the face of Amazon Prime’s NBA coverage when the streaming giant begins broadcasting late next year.
Rooks, 32, has provided long form features for Prime Video on Thursday Night Football since 2022.
Amazon have been impressed with her work on Thursday Night Football[/caption]The popular anchor has also hosted Taylor Rooks X for TNT Sports and the Two Personal podcast with Joy Taylor.
Since the start of this NBA season, she has been a sideline reporter for TNT and NBA TV.
But next year she will get the top presenting job on Amazon Prime, according to The Athletic.
The report states that there is a verbal agreement for Rooks to be the lead host of its NBA pregame, halftime and postgame shows.
Amazon did not comment but will begin broadcasting the world’s top basketball league from next season.
An 11-year, $20billion deal for NBA and WNBA rights was confirmed in November.
Amazon is set to report on 60 games per season – including an opening week double header.
They will air games on a Friday night all season – with a caveat that allows games to change – as well as on Thursday nights after the NFL season ends.
NBA games will be available to all Amazon Prime subscribers.
The tech firm will also show the entire knockout stage of the NBA Cup, as well as the semifinals and finals.
The NBA signed an 11-year deal with three networks for the league's rights from the 2025-26 season.
And there will be no games on TNT for the first time since the network launched in 1988.
The Walt Disney Company will continue to show the league with 80 regular-season games across ESPN and ABC.
They will also show around 18 playoff games from the first and second round, a Conference Finals series for 10 of the 11 years, and remain the home of the NBA Finals.
NBC will return as an NBA broadcaster for the first time since 2002.
The network will show up to 100 games per season across it’s channels and Peacock streaming service.
It will also be the home of NBA All-Star and show approximately 28 playoff games from the first and second round.
NBC will show one Conference Finals Series for six of the 11 years, rotating with new broadcaster Amazon Prime.
Amazon will show 66 NBA regular-season games including one on Black Friday.
The streaming service is also the home of the latter stages of the NBA Cup and the entire Play-In Tournament.
Prime will also broadcast around one third of the playoff games in the first and second round.
During the playoffs they will broadcast 14 to 26 games per season in the first two rounds, along with three Eastern Conference finals and three Western Conference finals over the 11-year deal.
In years where they don’t have an NFL game on Black Friday, Amazon also has the rights to air an NBA game instead.
Alongside Rooks, Ian Eagle is set to be the lead game-caller for NBA coverage.
It has also been reported that Dirk Nowitzki is closing in on a deal to launch his broadcasting career with Amazon.
