Katie Price reveals she’s getting 18th boob job and surgery to ‘make her look normal’ – weeks after £10k facelift

KATIE Price has opened up about getting more surgery – this time to make her boobs smaller – and pin her ears back.

Panto star Katie isn’t happy with her latest chest augmentation and has new issues with her ears sticking out since her recent facelift.

The former glamour model told Closer: “2024 has been like weighing scales. But I chose to get rid of all toxicness around me, and it makes a massive difference.

“I’m already going back. I’ve never had ears that stick out, but I saw a surgeon the other day…

“With my face[lift], where they sewed it at the back, my ears now stick out, so the surgeon is just going to put them back to normal.”

Talking about her reasons behind going under the knife again, she said: “I think I need therapy when it comes to surgery.

“I wouldn’t say I’ve got body dysmorphia, but there’s obviously an underlying something why I feel I need to get surgery, or why I look in the mirror and think, ‘I want to change this or change that.’

“What you’ve got to remember, I’m four years away from being 50, so I’m entitled to [do] whatever I want to my face.

“I did my whole modelling career – apart from my boobs – naturally. I didn’t have airbrushing, filters, anything.

“It’s weird, because I’m a confident person, but I just feel if there’s something I want to change, I’ll change it.

“Because I do little and often, it seems I’m always under the knife. When it comes to surgery, I admit everything I do, I don’t shy away from it, and I wouldn’t.

“I make sure the most horrific pictures are seen. People need to know that it’s not a walk in the park, it’s surgery.”

She added: “Lipo never worked because I was too lazy to go to the gym. I had a lip lift, which was a waste of time.

“I want my boobs smaller again. I prefer being smaller.”

A handful of Katie‘s followers suggested she has “ruined” her looks with her latest facelift.

She first revealed the outcome of her sixth facelift – costing a whopping £10K – back in August.

Yet her recovery was somewhat hampered as blood was seen oozing out of her stitches just days after.

She even dubbed her pre-surgery appearance as “disgusting” and “rough” and admitted going under the knife helps her feel more confident and in control of her body.

Meanwhile, it seems she is eager to show off her new look in saucy new snaps for her OnlyFans subscribers.

It was previously reported how the star makes up to £2.2million a year from her account.

New AI cameras which can tell if a driver is DRUNK are unveiled – find out exactly where you can spot them

NEW AI cameras are being trialled to spot drunk and drug drivers – similar to those that monitor motorists not wearing their seatbelt or using their mobile phone.

The new roadside tech, which is currently being trialled in an area of the country, works by analysing images of passing cars for signs of driver impairment.

The tecyh works by alerting nearby police officers if it detects a potential impairment[/caption]

It then immediately alerts nearby police officers if it detects a potential impairment, who can then stop the vehicle and conduct a roadside test.

According to AutoExpress, Devon & Cornwall Police are leading the trial throughout December as part of their Vision Zero South West campaign.

Superintendent Simon Jenkinson said: “We have an expansive road network of nearly 14,000 miles in Devon and Cornwall, meaning our officers cannot be everywhere.

“Camera technology helps us to target operational resources in an effective way, where intelligence informs our deployment.

“We will be deploying the cameras at various locations throughout the region in December and working closely with Acusensus to make sure this system is as accurate and effective as possible.”

The cameras are developed by Australian tech firm Acusensus, which was created after a friend of the founder died in a road accident caused by a distracted driver.

However, the firm’s UK boss Geoff Collins wanted to emphasise that the AI is not making definitive judgments, but rather replicating a seasoned officer’s intuition.

He said: “A police officer at the side of the road, if they’ve worked in road traffic for long enough, will probably watch a vehicle drive by and think ‘I’m not happy with that one’.

“It’ll be all kinds of things about how they’re driving, the style of their driving, things that we’re noticing, and we’re trying to replicate the policeman’s nose.

“I would be in the queue to say you shouldn’t have all of these things monitored everywhere, all of the time, because that is overly controlling.

“But I don’t think there’s any harm in the perception that you could be monitored.

“If people say ‘it’s big brother’ and ‘we should be able to make our own decisions’, I strongly disagree when it comes to two tons of metal and when my kids might be in the car coming in the other direction.

“There are rules of the road, and there’s a responsibility that comes with a car.”

He also acknowledged concerns about over-reliance on AI camera technology, but defended its use given the decline in road policing officers.

He added: “There’s a lot of camera technology across the UK which is used to identify speeding, and speeding is widely understood to be a significant contributory factor towards casualties.

“But it could be argued that disproportionately an awful lot of the effort goes into that one factor, when we talk about five fatal driving behaviours.

“Every single roads policing officer I’ve ever spoken to would like there to be a larger, more capable and involved road policing operation, but it’s not their decision to cut back the number of roads policing officers on the network.

“Yet the numbers of these specialist officers are being cut, and this is a pragmatic approach to maximise the capacity forces do have, when they’ve only a handful of traffic officers who can’t do everything and be everywhere.”

Last month, we revealed how AI cameras were being used to catch drivers on their phones or not wearing seatbelts – with thousands of the stealth traps popping up nation-wide.

The smart tech cameras are mounted on vehicles or roadside bollards and take secret snaps inside motorists’ cars.

The pictures reveal drivers committing various offences, including calling and texting on their phones – while one is seen with the passenger seatbelt illegally clicked into the driver’s seat.

The new “Heads Up” cameras, also made by tech company Acusensus, were trialled over a five-week period in Greater Manchester.

During that time, 3,200 people were caught on their phones or without their seatbelts on.

Nine police forces across the UK have also trialled the innovative technology.

These include Durham, Humberside, Staffordshire, West Mercia, Northamptonshire, WiltshireNorfolk, Thames Valley Police and Sussex.

Elsewhere, a group of scientists are on their way to creating the world’s most perfect car – with more help from AI.

By poring over the data of 8,000 3D car designs and their aerodynamics, the tech experts are many steps closer to designing a more efficient and eco-friendly motor.

Huge DIY chain launches closing down sale in stores as future of chain still hangs in the balance

A HUGE DIY chain has launched more closing down sales ahead of Christmas, escalating fears of widespread closures.

Signage announcing closing-down sales and steep discounts has appeared at Homebase shops in Morecambe, Lancaster, and Winchester.

A shopper walks past a closing Homebase store in London.

The closing signs now displayed at Homebase shops in Morecambe and Winchester are unexpected, as these stores were never listed for sale[/caption]

The same signs were spotted at at shops in Loudwater and Worcester just weeks ago.

They read “Store closing. Everything must go. All stock reduced”.

Homebase crashed into administration last month, but it was partially rescued by billionaire Chris Dawson, the owner of The Range and Wilko.

Dawson’s intervention looked to retain “up to” 70 stores and save 1,600 jobs as well as the Homebase brand, leaving 74 branches and roughly 2,000 employees at risk.

Just a week later, Teneo, Homebase’s administrators placed these 74 stores up for sale.

Although the company established a deadline of November 29 for potential buyers to acquire these branches, it remains uncertain whether any of these stores have been saved.

The closing signs now displayed at Homebase shops in Morecambe and Winchester are unexpected, as these stores were never listed for sale.

It could have been assumed that they were originally set to be rescued by CDS Superstores, the owner of The Range and Wilko.

Analysis by The Sun reveals that only 57 stores were not put up for sale and could have been included in CDS’ rescue plan.

However, the exact number of stores rescued by CDS still remains a mystery.

Teneo and CDS Superstores declined to comment.

At the time it entered administration, Homebase operated 141 stores.

This figure included the 10 stores acquired by Sainsbury’s prior to Homebase’s collapse.

Once all stores are closed, Sainsbury’s will convert the units into new supermarkets.

Hilco Capital, the owner of Homebase, had put the company up for sale in July.

The restructuring firm, which purchased Homebase from Wesfarmers in 2018 for £1, started the formal sale process after being approached by The Range.

What is happening with the CDS rescue deal?

The CDS Superstores buyout saved approximately 1,600 jobs and “up to 70” sites.

Alex Simpkin, chief executive of CDS Superstores, owner of The Range, said at the time: “We’ve stepped in following the sad demise of the Homebase brand, which has had a long and previously successful history of helping UK households with their DIY projects”.

However, the exact number of stores rescued by CDS still remains a mystery.

Although, CDS has confirmed that the Homebase brand will continue to trade online, and any acquired stores will continue to trade as Homebase over the coming months.

Once they are transferred to CDS they will “quickly” re-open as The Range superstores.

CDS Superstores previously acquired the Wilko name and intellectual property after it collapsed into administration last year.

HISTORY OF HOMEBASE

  • 1979: Homebase was founded by the supermarket chain Sainsbury’s and Belgian retailer GB-Inno-BM
  • April 1981: The first store opened in Croydon
  • October 1981: The second store opened in Leeds
  • 1989: Homebase opened its 50th store in Norwich
  • 1995: The chain boasted 82 stores and Sainsbury’s acquired all 241 Texas Homecare stores
  • 1996-1999: All Texas Homecare stores were converted into the Homebase format
  • 2001: Sainsbury’s sells Homebase but retains a 17.3% minority stake until 2002
  • 2006: Homebase operated as a subsidiary under the Home Retail Group from October 2006 until 2016
  • February 2016: Australian retailer Wesfarmers owner of the Bunnings brand, purchased Homebase for £340million
  • February 2018: Wesfarmers reported losses relating to the takeover of £57million in the year to June 2017, and soon decided to implement a review of the business
  • May 2018: Hilco bought the hardware store chain for just £1
  • 2018-2024: Homebase has closed 106 stores since it was taken over by Hilco Capital

Why are DIY chains struggling?

It has been a tricky time for home improvement chains, both large and small.

It comes as shoppers have been cutting back on spending following the pandemic.

Plus, the recent turmoil in the housing market has meant that homeowners aren’t as focused on DIY projects as they once were.

In the spring, Kingfisher, which owns B&Q and Screwfix, revealed that annual profits had slumped by more than a quarter.

The company reported a 25.1% drop in underlying pre-tax profits to £568million for the year to January 31, 2024.

Window and door specialist Everest called in administrators in April, leaving customers in the dark about their orders.

Last year, the group had previously cautioned profits would slip after a 36% drop in pre-tax profits from £1billion to £611million in the 12 months to January 2023.

Rival Wickes also reported a 31% fall in profits to £52million on flat revenues of £1.55billion for 2023.

Windows and doors company Safestyle collapsed into administration in October last year.

The company has a manufacturing site in Wombwell, near Barnsley and 42 sales branches and depots across the country.

Flooring retailer Tapi recently struck a multimillion-pound rescue deal to save the Carpetright brand and dozens of stores last month.

Tapi purchased 54 of the chain’s stores and two warehouses in a pre-pack administration deal that saved 300 jobs.

However, the deal did not include 200 other stores which all closed their doors.

Joey Barton charged with sharing ‘malicious’ posts about Jeremy Vine & Lucy Ward – as he slams ‘woke nonsense’

JOEY Barton has been charged with sharing “malicious” posts about Jeremy Vine and football commentator Lucy Ward.

The former footballer was already accused of targeting pundit Eni Aluko but is now facing further charges against her colleague Lucy.

He is also accused of lashing out at BBC star Vine, Liverpool Crown Court was told today.

Barton, 41, is now due to appear before magistrates at a later date over the new alleged offences.

Cheshire Police confirmed he has been charged with two counts of malicious communications.

The force added: “The charges relate to reports of alleged malicious communications online between Wednesday 3 January and Wednesday 20 March, involving two victims.”

Barton responded to the development on X today – branding it “more woke nonsense”.

The ex-manager added “Still no sign of any charges for those from Manchester Airport? Three charges for me for a some jokes on tweets.”

Barton has pleaded not guilty over the Eni Aluko tweets and is due to stand trial next year.

He landed himself in hot water after launching into alleged attacks against a string of female pundits in December.

This included Eni and Lucy, who at the time were working as pundits for ITV on the FA Cup clash between Crystal Palace and Everton.

Barton allegedly claimed Eni “can’t even kick a ball properly”, before adding: “Your coverage of the game EFC last night, took it to a new low.

“Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward, the Fred and Rose West of football commentary.”

The former Man City star then accused Eni of being in the “Joseph Stalin category” for “murdering hundreds of thousands of fans’ ears”, it is said.

Eni bravely revealed she was seeking legal action after the barrage left her “scared”.

Vine was also caught up in a social media spat after Barton branded him a “big bike nonce”.

Barton started his football career with Manchester City in 2002 after going through their youth system and went on to make 150 appearances for the club.

He then moved to Newcastle United in a £5.8million transfer in July 2007 before leaving for Queens Park Rangers in August 2011.

The midfielder was then put on loan to French side Marseille during the 2012-13 season before making his way to Burnley for one season – helping promote them to the Premier League.

Barton made one appearance for England in 2007 – despite criticising some of his fellow players.

The footballer later attempted a management career with stints at Fleetwood Town and Bristol Rovers.

Friends star looks unrecognisable 30 years after appearing in hit sitcom

AN actor from the early episodes of Friends now looks worlds away from the sitcom character he played 30 years ago.

The iconic sitcom, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, featured the star quite early on, in the third ever episode of the series.

It has been 30 years since Geoffrey’s appearance on Friends

Geoffrey Lower appeared in the episode titled The One With The Thumb as Monica Geller’s (Courteney Cox) then-boyfriend Alan.

In the episode, Monica was nervous about introducing Alan to the gang in case they scared him off or didn’t approve, but they loved him.

Chandley Bing (Matthew Perry) was even convinced by him to quit smoking but things didn’t last long between Monica and him and she ended up breaking it off, with Alan never appearing on the show again.

But Geoffrey’s one hit stint on the sitcom didn’t dampen his career – he went on to appear as Rev. Timothy Johnson in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman over the next five years.

The TV series ran from 1993–1998 and follows the story of Dr. Michaela Quinn, a wealthy Boston physician who moves to Colorado Springs to establish her own practice.

Geoffrey, who plays the Reverend of the town, is shown in the show going through various struggles until he finds his calling as a Reverend.

He also appeared in Quantum Leap, Matlock, NCIS and Beverly Hills, 90210 over the next three decades.

More recently, Geoffrey has appeared in Disney+’s latest Star Wars series Skeleton Crew.

In recent pictures from his projects on Instagram, the actor looks unrecognisable from the role we saw him in on Friends.

Writing on his Instagram page, he said: “December dump. Skeleton Crew finally aired. Merchant Captain getting roughed up by the Pirates and thrown out the air lock.”

He also mentioned a short film he took part in called One More Minute and a “commercial audition” where he had to prove he could “actually fish”.

According to Geoffrey’s official website, he now “splits his time between acting, creating homes for Angelenos with his wife, hanging out with his sons and a large Akita named Kioko”.

Friends ran for a decade from 1994 to 2004 and it remains one of the most popular comedies on TV to this day.

Its lead stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and the late Matthew Perry went on to huge success after playing Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Ross and Chandler in the show.
