Towie’s biggest feud ever erupts as Joe and Junaid slam cast and treatment after Christmas special shock scenes

TOWIE’S biggest feud ever has erupted, with Joe Blackman and Junaid Ahmed slamming the cast’s treatment after last night’s Christmas special.

During the festive shocker, fans were left horrified after Junaid, 29, and Joe, 26, found themselves in one of show’s most shocking ever bust ups with Harry Derbidge, 30.

Two men in matching pajamas thank viewers for their support.
Instagram

It led to Joe revealing the reason for his split with Harry was because he “wouldn’t put out”.

After the ITVBe show aired, Junaid posted a dig at his co-stars as he shared a loved-up snap with Joe to Instagram.

He wrote: “Tonight’s ep was a hard watch. Just want to say thank you for everyone that has sent us love & support it’s truly much appreciated.

“You really do see people’s true colours in the ep & how they made me and Joe feel.

“Never have I experienced what we did on that dinner table, and the way people treated us.

“It’s only made us stronger than ever & forever grateful for the support.”

In a scene from the installment, latecomers Junaid and Joe received a frosty welcome from their co-stars as they arrived at a lavish country house party.

Earlier on in the episode, Harry revealed a phone call from Junaid – where he told him that Joe had been “unfaithful” to him and had “cheated” on Harry TWICE during their one-year relationship.

As the cast celebrated the festive season with a dinner party– some co-stars were were ready to settle some old scores.

The spotlight was quickly on Joe and Junaid and their relationship following their brief split at the end of last series.

Joe admitted: “We’re so much happier now. With Junaid I can be 100 per cent myself and not feel like I’ve got to be careful of what I say and what I don’t say.”

It didn’t take long for Courtney and Chloe to pipe up and tell the pair they were out of order for parading their romance on social media.

Harry then decided to go head-to-head with Junaid as he addressed the phone call they had, where Junaid confessed that Joe had been unfaithful to both of them.

Harry yelled: “You were so quick to get on the phone to me and we spoke for long. You said a lot of things and then you come to me again, crying your eyes out, telling me Joe cheated on me twice.”

Junaid replied: “Yeah, yeah I did say that.”

Joe defended himself saying he hadn’t cheated, which prompted Harry to scream: “How can you literally act like this never happened?”

A furious Junaid hit back: “I’m sitting here and saying I said this stuff. I’m saying I owned it. I did and I’m not lying about it.”

Harry said: “I’m frustrated because you’re lying.”

Junaid fired back: “Shut your f****** mouth.”

But things turned nasty as he revealed the “real reason” for his split from Harry, telling the table that his former partner “wouldn’t put out”.

Harry told him: “Joe, you’ve embarrassed yourself.”

The cast were gobsmacked by his confession, with Chloe calling it “childish” and crude, while Sophie shut him down saying: “There’s a way of saying things. You don’t throw things like that across the table.”

Towie fans were also shocked by the comment.

One wrote: “That’s absolutely disgusting behaviour because he felt he did not want to have s*x every single night with him so he shames him for that.

A second posted: “Got to say, this episode was uncomfortable to watch. If this was all done for entertainment then it is not a great look.”

A third said: “Joe’s comment was below the belt.”

This fan defended the couple, writing: “I’m not a fan of Joe and Junaid….. but the bullying is wrong! Saffron invited them, ignored them when they arrived, let everyone else blank them and then set them up for a fight at the dinner table!”

Another said: “Everyone ganging up on Junaid and Joe like that really isn’t nice at all. That’s like high school behaviour. Acting like that on national tv whilst being proud and laughing about it is honestly putting me off and I’ve been a TOWIE fan since day one.”

Things got off to a bad start for lovebirds Joe and Junaid.

Upon their arrival, Sophie Kasaei said they were in the “wrong room”, while her boyfriend Jordan Brook sang a festive tune.

Feeling humiliated, Junaid later told pals Lauren Goodger and Freddie Bentley that he only “wanted good vibes”.

He said: “Everyone’s got their opinions, but if I myself have decided to give things a go and we’ve sorted our problems out it’s no one’s f******* business.”

Junaid was also at the centre of a fallout between new boyfriend Joe and best friend Dani Imbert.

Dani was left furious after Joe slammed her on social media – and claimed she had “cheated” on her boyfriend with Roman Hackett, which she denied.

SECOND CHANCES

Last week, TV favourite Junaid opened up about his brief split from Joe.

Junaid exclusively told The Sun: “Joe was unfaithful. We had just gone exclusive. He was unfaithful. It was my own decision to go back into it. We are together.

“It wasn’t as bad as something I couldn’t forgive.

“At the end of the day…this is my first relationship. This is the first time I’ve been in love

“It was a stupid little mistake.

“He had messaged someone else… I ended it.

“And then we didn’t speak for a week or so then rekindled and worked on things… really worked on things.

“We started off again as friends, to rebuild the friendship, to see where we would get to and see what would happen.”

Junaid revealed that the pair are back on track, despite causing upset among the cast.

“Fast forward to now we are happier than ever and more loved up than ever,” he told us.

“Making sure we are on the same page, boundaries and respect and all that…

“It has moved leaps and bounds. Massively… we are very much in love and happy and content and good.

“We didn’t expect it and we didn’t know it would happen.

“Obviously there was quite a clear connection between the two of us… and I do believe love takes over in the end.

“There is a massive connection there and we have gone with our hearts.

“When you are in love and you’ve gone with your heart what more can you do?

“It is going to ruffle everyone’s feathers. He is Harry’s ex and it not the ideal situation but at the end of the day we make each other happy.

“And that is what matters the most.

“Love wins in the end.

“We are practically in a relationship, without the label.

“He has lived at mine for the last month. He is living with me.

“I am waiting for him to do it (ask us to be boyfriends)

“We are both going to Bali which will be exciting and fun.”

The Guinness Draught Nitrosurge device is listed as an Amazon best seller for just £30.60.

Shoppers have been raving about the gadget, with over 1,000 positive reviews culminating in a 4.5/5 star rating.

One happy customer called it “a game changer,” adding: “This gives you the closest thing to a pub pint at home. The quality is top drawer, and it makes the perfect gift for any Guinness lover.”

Another wrote: “The creamy head and smooth texture are exactly like you’d get from the tap at a bar. It’s easy to use and compact — perfect for enjoying the pub experience at home.”

Priced at £30, it’s an affordable alternative to other at-home draught machines, such as the PerfectDraft system, which costs a whopping £189 for the starter bundle.

The gadget comes as Guinness faces potential shortages across the UK due to increased demand.

Some pubs, like The Old Ivy House in Clerkenwell, London, have even started issuing ration cards to manage their dwindling supply of the beloved stout.

Co-owner Del Currie revealed that they had only three kegs left last week, compared to their usual eight.

He said: “It’s the busiest time of the year, and we’ve been forced to get creative. Instead of freaking out, we made it fun with ration cards, and people loved it.”

The Guinness shortage stems from what the brand’s owner, Diageo, called “exceptional consumer demand.”

Cold weather, the festive season, and a series of major rugby matches have fuelled a 20% surge in Guinness sales, according to data from research firm CGA.

For fans eager to skip the pub queues, the Nitrosurge device is proving to be a lifesaver.

One reviewer said: “Just like on tap! I’d recommend this to anyone who loves a Guinness.”

You can purchase the Guinness Nitrosurge Device here.

GUINNESS DUPES

The famous Dublin drink is facing competition from other breweries and supermarkets which are now producing their own dark stouts.

Sun reporter Olivia Marshall carried out a taste test to see whether you can swap Guinness products for a different brand without sacrificing quality.

She looked at a range of dark tipples on sale at the major supermarkets and compared them with the leading brand Guinness and gave them a score out of 10 for taste and a score out of 10 for value for money.

While none were quite as good as a Guinness, she found Camden’s stout to be the most promising dupe.

She said: “It looked and smelt the most like Guinness and its pour was super smooth with a silky head.

“The stout did have a bit more of a bitter taste than the other beverages though, but I still really enjoyed it.

“So if you prefer a bitter taste, this one is for you.”

At £2.50 for an individual can though, it’s a pretty pricey option but Olivia rated it a 9/10.

OTHER BEER NEWS

Punters were left fuming earlier this month when Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) announced it was ditching 11 classic cask beers.

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) slammed the decision as “another example of a globally owned business wiping out UK brewing heritage”.

A number of major beer brands have slashed the strength of their lagers in a budget-boosting move, too.

Hophead has reduced its ABV from 3.8% to 3.4% with landlords still being charged the same wholesale price.

Bottles of Banks’s Amber Ale were also changed from 3.8% to 3.4% in the middle of last year.

Meanwhile, Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, Grolsch Premium Pilsner and Banks’ Amber Ale have been reduced to 3.4%.

She made her film debut in 1967 alongside singer Lulu and actor Sidney Poitier, as teacher Clinty Clintridge.

She later scored household fame when she played Keeping Up Appearances’ iconic character Hyacinth Bucket – of course pronounced bouquet – for the show’s five-year running.

It is of course Dame Patricia Routledge, and she was spotted dining at Chez Moi in Bognor Regis, much to the delight of staff.

Patricia was photographed in good spirits, wearing a black top, floral jacket and beads as she posed with chef and owner Michael Newton-Young.

Proud owner Michael posted the photo to his Instagram, writing: “When a Dame came for dinner.”

Fans in the comments were delighted, as one person penned: “Hyacinth!!!! :-)” and a second added: ““Bouquet Residence! The Lady of the House speaking!” Holy crap she gave us so much joy!”

Dame Patricia role as Hyacinth was one that she played for five series and four Christmas specials and captured audiences all across the world.

The actress then went on to play an amateur detective in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates and multiple theatre roles.

Patricia starred in Talking Heads, a series of dramatic monologues written for the BBC by acclaimed playwright Alan Bennett.

He wrote three especially for her – A Lady of Letters, Miss Fozzard Finds her Feet and A Woman of No Importance.

Despite her age and a career spanning more than 70 years, the star still looks incredibly youthful.

In 2017, Patricia, who has never married and does not have children, was made a Dame thanks to her services to entertainment and charity.

She is a patron of the Beatrix Potter Society and in 2008 received a Doctors of Letters degree from Lancaster University for her contribution to drama and theatre.

NFL makes final punishment decision on Chase Brown after Cincinnati Bengals star was cited for ‘illegal’

NFL CHIEFS have made a final punishment decision on Chase Brown after the Cincinnati Bengals star was cited for an “illegal” celebration.

The 24-year-old running back has been one of his NFL team’s star men so far this season.

He jumped into the Salvation Army bucket after a touchdown[/caption]

The 2023 round 5 draft pick has helped the Bengals to six wins in the AFC North.

And Brown played a big role in last night’s 37-27 win at the home of the Tennessee Titans.

But ahead of that match, he was issued a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct due to an “illegal celebration” in the previous win over the Dallas Cowboys.

A week ago, Brown starred as his side landed a 27-20 victory in Texas.

The ace hit a magnificent touchdown to send the away fans wild.

And he celebrated by running along the field before jumping into the giant red Salvation Army kettle.

Brown spread his arms out wide as he posed for pictures.

But he has now been made to cough up a fine worth $5,481 for unsportsmanlike conduct, which is defined as illegal celebrations and/or vulgar acts.

That’s despite Brown appearing to copy the iconic celebration from Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott.

The NFL icon loved nothing more than jumping into the kettle.

He was never punished for his behaviour, leaving fans confused[/caption]

Yet Elliott, who rejoined the Cowboys this year from the New England Patriots following a previous six-year spell in Texas, never received a punishment for the act.

Fans were certainly left confused by the decision to fine Brown for emulating Elliott.

One said: “So he got fined for doing what Cowboys players do when they score a touchdown? Got it.”

Another declared: “What was the vulgar act?”

One noted: “They’re asking for it by putting the kettle there.”

Another added: “As a Cowboys fan, how in the world was that a fine?”

Who is Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz?

ALEX Bruesewitz is one of Republican Donald Trump’s campaign advisors.

The 27-year-old suddenly fainted while giving remarks at the New York Republicans event on Sunday – but who is the advisor?

Republican strategist Alex Bruesewitz collapsed on stage at a gala[/caption]

Who is Alex Bruesewitz?

Alex Bruesewitz, 27, is the CEO of the political think tank X Strategies.

He is a political consultant and strategist who works closely with Trump in advising his campaigns.

X Strategies, Bruesewitz’s company, works to deliver content, media planning and buying services for customers to aid “organic growth and authentic messaging,” according to their website.

He grew up in the “heartland of America” and developed a passion for politics – specifically for the Republican party and Donald Trump.

Bruesewitz has written a book called Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tides Against the Left.

This is an outline on how conservatives can gain followers and consequently influence to inflict policy change both through politics and social media.

What does Alex Bruesewitz do as one of Trump’s advisors?

Bruesewitz is often labelled as one of the masterminds behind making Trump appealing to younger voters – a demographic the Republican has historically struggled to grasp.

He worked with Barron – Trump’s son – on how the tycoon could boost his popularity among young people.

In the run-up to the election, Trump had meetings with influencers like Adin Ross and Joe Rogan to reach younger demographics.

Bruesewitz has been described as a “fierce advocate” for the MAGA movement and the driving force against GOP politicians who tried to defeat Trump.

He advises members of Congress, the Senate, former White House political appointees as well as other influential conservative leaders on their public policy and political strategy needs.

According to X Strategies, Donald Trump said Alex Bruesewitz “is a young star”.

He added: “I don’t know where he’s going, but he’s going places.”

Donald Trump Jr also said: “Alex Bruesewitz is one of my father’s strongest and most loyal supporters.”

And Jim Banks, Senator-elect for Indiana, also gushed about Bruesewitz, saying: “When it comes to the new Republican Party and understanding that we are in a war against the radical Left to save this country, nobody understands that as well as Alex Bruesewitz.”

What happened to Alex Bruesewitz on stage at a Republican gala?

Alex Bruesewitz suddenly fainted while giving remarks at the New York Young Republicans event.

Addressing the crowd, he admitted he was starting to forget his words.

Bruesewitz then tried to carry on with his speech and uttered the words “sham impeachment” before he fainted.

Trump later called into the event and wished campaigner Bruesewitz well.

“I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” the Republican said.

“There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”

Conservative influencers also said they’d spoken to Bruesewitz following the incident.

Jack Posobiec said Bruesewitz was checked out by medics and said all levels were normal.

“Only thing he asked me was, “Did it look cool?” Posobiec posted on X.

“He’ll be just fine.”

He is understood to have visited a cash machine to withdraw money to pay a local who gave him a ride back to his hotel.

But the holidaymaker was found dead on the steps of a 7-Eleven store shortly after 6:30am Monday morning next to an opened plastic water bottle.

Thai Police Lieutenant Colonel Arun said: “Officers are checking CCTV to find out who took the tourist back and why they left.

“The deceased had returned from the Full Moon Party.

“Officers are currently questioning witnesses who claimed to have seen him drunk at Hat Rin Beach where the party was held.

“He was said to have been visibly exhausted before he died.”

Arun said the tourist had no cash so asked a local to take him back to his hotel and promised to withdraw money to pay.

He said: “He might have partied all night until the morning and passed out due to lack of sleep.

“There were no signs of assault, so we believe he might have been drunk or overdosed.

“His blood test results are still pending, but we have already informed the British Embassy of his passing.”

Police are now hunting for the man who gave him a ride so they can question him.

The Thai Full Moon Party is an all-night beach party on the island of Koh Phangan.

The party takes place on the night of every full moon and is usually attended by thousands of backpackers.

The Foreign Office has been approached for comment.

Kansas City Chiefs star and Patrick Mahomes protector praised for sportsmanship after freak injury to Browns rival

THE Kansas City Chiefs have been praised for their sportsmanship after Myles Garrett suffered a freak injury.

Andy Reid’s team continued their fine form with a 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns yesterday.

Joe Thuney also made sure the Browns star was okay as he left the field with his head in a towel[/caption]

There was concern towards the end of the first quarter when Garrett looked in severe pain following a clash with Joe Thuney.

The Browns star appeared to be inadvertently poked in the eye by the Chiefs offensive lineman.

Garrett immediately paused, ripped his helmet off and threw it to the deck before dropping to his knees hurt.

When Patrick Mahomes noticed his rival down in pain, he gestured frantically for medics to come over.

Garrett walked off the field with his head in a towel and Thuney also made sure he was okay, coming over and putting his arm around him as he trudged off.

He missed just four plays before coming back onto the field.

On his injury, Garrett said: “I think it was literally the first play I took my visor off.

“It was raining and it was getting kind of blurry and then it got real blurry and dark after he hit me in the eye.

“It hurt a lot, but I was thinking I might not be able to see at all because I have LASIK and that’s why I wear the visor, I don’t want the flap to go up.

“If it does, then lights out and I have to go to the doctor.

“I’m going to the doctor tomorrow, see if there’s anything else that we didn’t see initially. But more at the moment, just in pain.”

After his classy gesture, Mahomes also suffered an injury and he was unable to finish the game.

The quarterback sustained an ankle problem after being hit by multiple Browns defenders mid-way through the fourth quarter.
