NFL makes final punishment decision on Chase Brown after Cincinnati Bengals star was cited for ‘illegal’

NFL CHIEFS have made a final punishment decision on Chase Brown after the Cincinnati Bengals star was cited for an “illegal” celebration.

The 24-year-old running back has been one of his NFL team’s star men so far this season.

The 2023 round 5 draft pick has helped the Bengals to six wins in the AFC North.

And Brown played a big role in last night’s 37-27 win at the home of the Tennessee Titans.

But ahead of that match, he was issued a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct due to an “illegal celebration” in the previous win over the Dallas Cowboys.

A week ago, Brown starred as his side landed a 27-20 victory in Texas.

The ace hit a magnificent touchdown to send the away fans wild.

And he celebrated by running along the field before jumping into the giant red Salvation Army kettle.

Brown spread his arms out wide as he posed for pictures.

But he has now been made to cough up a fine worth $5,481 for unsportsmanlike conduct, which is defined as illegal celebrations and/or vulgar acts.

That’s despite Brown appearing to copy the iconic celebration from Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott.

The NFL icon loved nothing more than jumping into the kettle.

He was never punished for his behaviour, leaving fans confused[/caption]

Yet Elliott, who rejoined the Cowboys this year from the New England Patriots following a previous six-year spell in Texas, never received a punishment for the act.

Fans were certainly left confused by the decision to fine Brown for emulating Elliott.

One said: “So he got fined for doing what Cowboys players do when they score a touchdown? Got it.”

Another declared: “What was the vulgar act?”

One noted: “They’re asking for it by putting the kettle there.”

Another added: “As a Cowboys fan, how in the world was that a fine?”

Who is Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz?

ALEX Bruesewitz is one of Republican Donald Trump’s campaign advisors.

The 27-year-old suddenly fainted while giving remarks at the New York Republicans event on Sunday – but who is the advisor?

Who is Alex Bruesewitz?

Alex Bruesewitz, 27, is the CEO of the political think tank X Strategies.

He is a political consultant and strategist who works closely with Trump in advising his campaigns.

X Strategies, Bruesewitz’s company, works to deliver content, media planning and buying services for customers to aid “organic growth and authentic messaging,” according to their website.

He grew up in the “heartland of America” and developed a passion for politics – specifically for the Republican party and Donald Trump.

Bruesewitz has written a book called Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tides Against the Left.

This is an outline on how conservatives can gain followers and consequently influence to inflict policy change both through politics and social media.

What does Alex Bruesewitz do as one of Trump’s advisors?

Bruesewitz is often labelled as one of the masterminds behind making Trump appealing to younger voters – a demographic the Republican has historically struggled to grasp.

He worked with Barron – Trump’s son – on how the tycoon could boost his popularity among young people.

In the run-up to the election, Trump had meetings with influencers like Adin Ross and Joe Rogan to reach younger demographics.

Bruesewitz has been described as a “fierce advocate” for the MAGA movement and the driving force against GOP politicians who tried to defeat Trump.

He advises members of Congress, the Senate, former White House political appointees as well as other influential conservative leaders on their public policy and political strategy needs.

According to X Strategies, Donald Trump said Alex Bruesewitz “is a young star”.

He added: “I don’t know where he’s going, but he’s going places.”

Donald Trump Jr also said: “Alex Bruesewitz is one of my father’s strongest and most loyal supporters.”

And Jim Banks, Senator-elect for Indiana, also gushed about Bruesewitz, saying: “When it comes to the new Republican Party and understanding that we are in a war against the radical Left to save this country, nobody understands that as well as Alex Bruesewitz.”

What happened to Alex Bruesewitz on stage at a Republican gala?

Alex Bruesewitz suddenly fainted while giving remarks at the New York Young Republicans event.

Addressing the crowd, he admitted he was starting to forget his words.

Bruesewitz then tried to carry on with his speech and uttered the words “sham impeachment” before he fainted.

Trump later called into the event and wished campaigner Bruesewitz well.

“I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” the Republican said.

“There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”

Conservative influencers also said they’d spoken to Bruesewitz following the incident.

Jack Posobiec said Bruesewitz was checked out by medics and said all levels were normal.

“Only thing he asked me was, “Did it look cool?” Posobiec posted on X.

“He’ll be just fine.”

He is understood to have visited a cash machine to withdraw money to pay a local who gave him a ride back to his hotel.

But the holidaymaker was found dead on the steps of a 7-Eleven store shortly after 6:30am Monday morning next to an opened plastic water bottle.

Thai Police Lieutenant Colonel Arun said: “Officers are checking CCTV to find out who took the tourist back and why they left.

“The deceased had returned from the Full Moon Party.

“Officers are currently questioning witnesses who claimed to have seen him drunk at Hat Rin Beach where the party was held.

“He was said to have been visibly exhausted before he died.”

Arun said the tourist had no cash so asked a local to take him back to his hotel and promised to withdraw money to pay.

He said: “He might have partied all night until the morning and passed out due to lack of sleep.

“There were no signs of assault, so we believe he might have been drunk or overdosed.

“His blood test results are still pending, but we have already informed the British Embassy of his passing.”

Police are now hunting for the man who gave him a ride so they can question him.

The Thai Full Moon Party is an all-night beach party on the island of Koh Phangan.

The party takes place on the night of every full moon and is usually attended by thousands of backpackers.

The Foreign Office has been approached for comment.

Kansas City Chiefs star and Patrick Mahomes protector praised for sportsmanship after freak injury to Browns rival

THE Kansas City Chiefs have been praised for their sportsmanship after Myles Garrett suffered a freak injury.

Andy Reid’s team continued their fine form with a 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns yesterday.

Joe Thuney also made sure the Browns star was okay as he left the field with his head in a towel[/caption]

There was concern towards the end of the first quarter when Garrett looked in severe pain following a clash with Joe Thuney.

The Browns star appeared to be inadvertently poked in the eye by the Chiefs offensive lineman.

Garrett immediately paused, ripped his helmet off and threw it to the deck before dropping to his knees hurt.

When Patrick Mahomes noticed his rival down in pain, he gestured frantically for medics to come over.

Garrett walked off the field with his head in a towel and Thuney also made sure he was okay, coming over and putting his arm around him as he trudged off.

He missed just four plays before coming back onto the field.

On his injury, Garrett said: “I think it was literally the first play I took my visor off.

“It was raining and it was getting kind of blurry and then it got real blurry and dark after he hit me in the eye.

“It hurt a lot, but I was thinking I might not be able to see at all because I have LASIK and that’s why I wear the visor, I don’t want the flap to go up.

“If it does, then lights out and I have to go to the doctor.

“I’m going to the doctor tomorrow, see if there’s anything else that we didn’t see initially. But more at the moment, just in pain.”

After his classy gesture, Mahomes also suffered an injury and he was unable to finish the game.

The quarterback sustained an ankle problem after being hit by multiple Browns defenders mid-way through the fourth quarter.
