The video opens for chaos. Recorded from a neighbour’s balcony, the clip shows a group of women armed with sticks running in the street below. Some women have tied their dupattas on their foreheads, Rambo style.

They climb over stairs, run into homes and the rain blows each other as the battle rages. A schoolgirl tries to run across the battlefield-turned-battlefield to get away safely. A boy tries to join the fight but is quickly beaten by a woman before running into his house to save himself.
The focus of the fight seems to be on two women dressed in pink and red, who are seen lying on the ground while the others beat them with sticks. Passers-by watch the chaos unfold, too afraid to stop them. At one point, a man on a bicycle stops and asks the women why they are arguing. They stick their hands and gesture for him to leave.

“War in Baghpat Increases”
The reason behind the fight is not clear but some claimed that the fight broke out over a song being played by one of the residents.
The video, which went viral on social media, was flooded with comments with users comparing the street fight to the iconic battle meme.
“In recent years, the number of wars in Baghpat has risen. Considering this, it will be at par with Kurukshetra, Panipat, Plassey, Chausa, Tarain, Buxar in history,” the user wrote.
“Women and children, everyone has jumped into this war. It’s beyond limits, it seems like everyone is fulfilling some ritual. It’s a very disturbing scene, very unfortunate,” said another user.
