The Japanese giant has reworked the Grand Highlander just two years after it hit production lines.
The original Highlander debuted back in 2000 and continues today in its fourth generation.
But in 2023, the firm decided to create a slightly larger version of the iconic 4×4, dubbing it the Grand Highlander.
The car is available in both petrol and hybrid specs, boasting up to 362 horsepower.
Toyota has now announced the trim levels and pricing structures for the 2025 model year.
The most significant development is the addition of the Nightshade trim for the hybrid.
This brings with it a new all-wheel drive system, black accents on the exterior and an 11-speaker JBL Audio System.
The new variant clocks in at $54,060 but is accompanied by a raft of price cuts elsewhere.
On the petrol side, there’s a new LE trim, slotting in below the XLE, starting at $42,310 – a reduction in base price to the tune of $2,460.
And the hybrid LE will drop $870 year-on-year to $45,660.
However, the XLE version will actually see a slight increase to $45,080.
Hybrid customers will also be able to opt for the Hybrid Max setup in Limited or Platinum trim at $56,140 and $60,225 respectively.
The Platinum will arrive by the end of the year, with the LE coming in early 2025.
All the remaining price adjustments will be made as the model year rolls over.
It comes after rival Hyundai unveiled its latest EV, which is inspired by a boat.
However, the mid-range hybrid has actually gone up in price[/caption]
