Benjamin Glaze, a former 2018 American Idol contestant who grabbed headlines after he was kissed by Katy Perry during his audition, was arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material.
According to information released by Tulsa Police, the authorities recovered over 700 images and videos.
According to the Tulsa Police Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit, it had received information in April 2024 about the alleged criminal activity of Benjamin Glaze, who lives in Tulsa.
Police obtained a search warrant and recovered a smartphone containing the objectionable images. After an arrest warrant was issued on Friday, the former 2018 American Idol contestant was arrested in the afternoon. He was later released on a $50,000 bond.
As per a Facebook post by the Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit, it had investigated Glaze after receiving the information about his involvement with child sexual abuse material.
