BIG Lots will close all of its remaining 963 stores only three months after its bankruptcy filing.
The shocking move was announced on Thursday after a deal from a private equity firm failed to go through.
Nexus Capital Management LP was set to offer financial assistance to Big Lots for restructuring.
That deal has failed to go through as of Thursday, per a press release.
As a result, all Big Lots locations have now begun “going out of business sales.”
