BILL Belichick hasn’t even been the head coach of UNC for a week but he is already promoting his school.
Belichick made an appearance on the Pat McAfee show to plug his new team and urge the ESPN presenter to make a visit.

McAfee shared that he has already spoken with tons of people about Belichick’s new position and how he thinks he will do at the job.
“All the college football people that I know are like, ‘How do you think Bill’s going to do?’” McAfee said.
“I’m like, ‘Bill’s not going to half-ass anything.’ He’s going to be very well-researched, and his team is obviously going to be held to a standard.
“I think he’s going to win. And everybody was like, ‘Well, how’s he going to recruit?’
“And it’s like, ‘I think it’s going to be a little different for him.’”
Belichick has much different duties now that he is a college football head coach instead of an NFL head coach.
He needs to recruit players to his program, promote that program on a national scale, and of course win games.
Belichick is up to the task though, and is already working on getting ESPN to take a visit to UNC.
“Can I just jump in there and say, why don’t you come down and talk about it in person?” he asked.
“How about if we do GameDay down here?”
McAfee loved the request from Belichick, seeing it as the coach already understanding his job.
“He already gets it. He gets it,” McAfee said.
“I would be honored to go down there. We can’t wait to get down there.”
College football fans were instantly excited at the prospect of having Belichick on College GameDay and shared their thoughts on social media.
“I think they might have to when the coach himself makes the request ON AIR,” one fan said.
