BREAKING: ZIMSEC Releases 2024 November A-Level Results
The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has officially released the results for the November 2024 A-Level examinations.

Speaking to journalists in Harare on Friday, ZIMSEC board chairperson Professor Mapfumo announced that students who sat for their A-Level exams in November 2024 can access their results via the ZIMSEC online portal for the next five days. After this period, students must collect their results from their respective schools or examination centres.
“Please take note that this portal will be open for 5 days only,” Mapfumo advised.
Heads of Examination Centres can start collecting results for their schools from the ZIMSEC Provincial Offices on Monday, January 13, 2025.
ZIMSEC 2024 November A-Level Results & Pass Rate
Mapfumo reported that a total of 33,585 candidates sat for the November 2024 examinations, down from 34,437 in 2023, marking a decrease of 852 candidates or 2.47%.
Of those, 33,246 candidates wrote two or more subjects, compared to 34,060 in 2023. Among those who took multiple subjects, 31,443 achieved Grade E or better, resulting in a pass rate of 94.58%.
In November 2023, 34,060 candidates wrote two or more subjects, with 32,221 earning Grade E or higher, leading to a pass rate of 94.60%. Thus, the national pass rate remains nearly identical for both years.
For the November 2024 exams, there were 29,041 school candidates, a slight decrease from 29,910 in 2023.
